— An East Perry Street resident reported at 6:08 p.m. Monday he was walking his dog near South Broadway and Franklin avenues when a car approached him at a high rate of speed and the driver stopped the car to yell harassing and threatening statements at him for no reason. The complainant provided a vehicle description and an officer will attempt to locate the driver.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of Prospect Street at 5:17 p.m. Monday in reference to a person to be removed. The person in question was advised of the complaint and told to leave.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Perry Street at 5 p.m. Monday in reference to a possible domestic dispute and learned that the individuals involved had already left the area.
— Police responded to the 2400 block of East State Street at 1:41 p.m. Monday in reference to a two-vehicle crash in which a driver failed to maintain a safe stopping distance and bumped into the rear of another vehicle. There was no visible damage and no citation issued. No injuries were reported.
— An officer at 11:36 a.m. Monday spoke with someone via phone regarding a dog bite at a 300 block West State Street business in which both people involved had already left. An officer collected contact information for the two people and spoke with them both via phone, advising them to go to the police station to give statements.
— Southeast school administration advised the school resource officer of an issue with a student at 11:15 a.m. Monday. All information was gathered and the matter is under investigation.
— Police responded to the 2500 block of East State Street at 6:57 a.m. Monday in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Police spoke with the driver who said he was a contractor parked there due to working on the business and would be there for a week until the job is complete.
