— Shawntelle M. Cain, 21, Campbell, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop at 11:05 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 100 block of Commerce Circle.
— Stephanie Patrick, 47, Columbiana, was charged with OVI, OVI breath greater than .17, endangering children, reasonable to control and open container following a traffic stop on Royal Birkdale Drive near Aberdeen Court at 7:41 p.m. Oct. 12.
— Devin Lodge, 22, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop at state routes 7 and 14 at 5:38 p.m. Oct. 10.
— Colton Cindrich, 24, Beaver Falls, was charged with OVI following a traffic crash near state Route 14 and County Line Road at 10:54 p.m. Oct. 7.
— Police took a custody dispute report at Manor Apartments at 7:58 p.m. Oct. 7.
Salem
— Theresa Morris, 81, Salem, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after they lost control of their vehicle during a U-turn and struck a utility pole at 9:22 a.m. Monday. No injuries were reported.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Cleveland Street at 1:37 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspicious person. The caller advised that someone was in their backyard with a flashlight. Officers spoke with the man who advised that as he was leaving his house his cat ran out the door. Officers attempted to assist the man, but the cat was elusive.
— Officers responded to the 1300 block of Carole Drive at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday for a reported disturbance. When officers arrived, they spoke with a man walking that had been involved and a woman at the residence, both advising that they had been in a verbal dispute, but that no violence had occurred. The man said he wanted to continue to walk for a while and was released from the scene.
— Officers responded to the 2500 block of Lexington Avenue at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday for a report of someone outside yelling for help and saying there was a man down. Officers located a woman lying face down on the ground, who advised that she was hit by a car, and was transported to the hospital by EMT.
— Officers responded to the 2200 block of East State Street at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday for a hit and skip crash. Officers found the caller’s vehicle was legally parked when it was struck by another driver in the lot. The vehicle in question was described as a dark green Envoy or Blazer, with an older Caucasian male driver with white hair. The vehicle that fled the scene will have damage to the front driver’s side. The matter is under investigation at this time.
— Officers spoke to a man by phone about a civil matter at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday. The caller advised that a person had entered a property they have a contractual right to, which the person has never lived at. Officers advised them that the matter appeared to be civil, but they could provide a statement which would be sent to the prosecutor for review. The caller advised that she would come into the station over the weekend.
— Officers responded to the area of West State Street and Benton Road at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a reckless driver. Officers located the vehicle and did not observe any traffic violations. Officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle and advised her of the complaint. The driver advised a vehicle had cut her off outside the city limits and had been brake checking her all the way into the city.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday regarding a possible assault that occurred on a city school bus. Officers gathered the person’s information and spoke to the school resource officer who advised he would be reviewing video of the incident.
— Officers responded to the 2700 block of East State Street at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday for a suspicious person report. Officers did locate the person who advised him of the complaint. He advised that he was okay and did not need any help.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Ninth Street at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday for a reported domestic in progress. The caller advised she witnessed a physical altercation between the involved parties. Officers spoke with the female half who advised that she had gotten into a verbal argument with her live-in-boyfriend that turned physical. The woman did have visible injuries from being thrown around the vehicle, and the male half, whose name was not listed, had already left the scene. The woman advised that she lived with her boyfriend in Cleveland, and he was probably on his way back home, and that she would be staying with her mother until she could get a hold of a friend to stay with. Charges are pending.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Maple Street at 8:53 p.m. Monday for a wellness check on a highly intoxicated man sending messages about harming himself. The man was transported by EMT.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of South Lundy Avenue at 8:15 p.m. Monday for a dog at large. Officers were advised of a dog that had been locked inside a vehicle all day before finally jumping out a window with a plastic covering over it. Officers spoke with the owner and advised them of the complaint.
— Officers responded to tractor Supply at 6:41 p.m. Monday for a report of a possible theft. The manager advised that a man was in the store and had left the building through an emergency door. Officers were also advised that it was not known if the man had taken anything. The manager was advised to contact police if any products were missing.
— Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue and East State Street at 6:14 p.m. Monday for a report of a reckless driver. The caller advised that a group of trucks were blowing smoke in the Taco Bell parking lot before leaving on East State Street. Officers were able to locate the vehicles which were driving normally.
— Officers responded to the area of Dodge Drive and West Pershing Street at 5:52 p.m. Monday for a report of a truck blocking an alley. Officers located the vehicle and observed it to be parked on private property, the caller was advised that officers could not tow the vehicle. While officers were on scene the owner of the truck contacted the neighbor and advised they would move the vehicle.
— Officers responded to an assisted living facility in the 200 block of Continental Drive at 3:56 a.m. Thursday for an assault investigation. Officers were advised that an STNA at the facility had held a pillow over a patients face on a date prior to the report but no injury had occurred. Officers spoke with the patient who advised they felt it was done in a joking manner, despite not liking it, and wasn’t concerned. However, a witness was also inside the room who reported that it had been done maliciously. The director of nursing advised that the staff was made aware of the incident on this date and contacted the police to report it.
— Officers responded to the area of North Lincoln Avenue at 3:10 p.m. for a report of a reckless operator. Officers checked the area to the city limits but were unable to locate any vehicle matching the description given.
