Lisbon

— Officers were dispatched at 6:56 p.m. Saturday to the Days Inn, state Route 154, to speak with guests alleged to be using marijuana in a room. A staff member provided the room number when officers arrived, but officers were unable to make contact.

— Police were called at 6:28 p.m. Saturday to the Park & Ride on state Route 154 for a male who crashed a bicycle and was lying next to it. Officers spoke to people in a car who said one of the passengers was the one who crashed the bicycle and he was ok.

— A noise complaint was reported at 12:23 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Market Street where the homeowner advised he would turn down the loud music.

— At 9:59 p.m. Friday, an officer responded to the 400 block of West Washington Street for various noise complaints. An officer met with a person in question who had previously been warned regarding noise levels and issued a minor misdemeanor citation. The person’s name wasn’t listed in the report.

— An officer responded at 8:56 p.m. Friday to the 400 block of East Lincoln Way for one to be removed. The officer spoke with both persons, who agreed to leave without incident.

— An officer at 11:29 a.m. Friday received an anonymous complaint regarding a silver Ford Ranger sitting in a driveway in the 400 block of West Washington Street. The person doing the complaining said the vehicle had not been moved in months and had a flat tire. There were also multiple tires laying around the property. During his patrols, the officer saw the vehicle sitting with a flat tire in the gravel parking lot and it appeared that it had been stationary for some time.

— The school resource officer was called at 7:19 a.m. Sept. 28 at McKinley Elementary School for a report of a juvenile fight at the bus stop. They left before police arrived. Using security footage, the SRO was able to identify the juveniles. He spoke to them at the junior/senior high school and learned a girl squirted a boy with a water bottle, resulting in him pushing her. Her brother then chased him down the sidewalk. He tried to swing at the brother but missed so the brother slapped him in the face. The school administration handled the disciplinary actions since the incident took place on school property.

— An officer responded at 4:33 a.m. Sept. 28 to Sunrise Homes, Saltwell Road, where a worker said he was taking out the trash when a man was out looking for his dog that ran off and shined a light in his eyes. He told him he better get the light out of his eyes and leave the property. The man gave a response and other workers came out and got the worker back inside the building. He was told to call back if the issue continues. At 4:25 a.m., police had been dispatched to GreenTree Place for two males arguing in the background. The man said all of his dogs had been let out and all but one returned and he got into an argument with someone by Sunrise Homes. He thought he could have taken his dog and also accused a neighbor of taking the dog. The officer told him he would keep an eye out for the dog.

— A woman on East Pine Street reported at 7:57 p.m. Sept. 26 that she heard someone banging on her bedroom window and was in fear that someone may be trying to enter the residence. No one was found initially and during a search of the area by K-9 Otis, nobody was found.

— Police checked the area of Market and Lincoln for a female at 4:17 p.m. Sept. 24 and did not find her at first, then found a female later that was from the area and waiting for her family to pick her up.

— Officers were called at 4:07 p.m. Sept. 21 to the 300 block of East Washington Street for a custody dispute.

— Officers were dispatched at 3:05 p.m. Sept. 21 to Smith Oil, East Lincoln Way, where a woman bought cigarettes and the card she used was declined. The cashier told her she would have to come in and pay for them and she left in her car. While police were trying to identify the woman, her daughter came back and paid for the item and apologized.

— A broken door was reported at the Steel Trolley Diner, East Lincoln Way and Jefferson, at 3:34 p.m. Sept. 17. An officer located the unsecured door and searched the building, which had been closed for some time. The caller said juveniles did it, but fled when they saw him watching. Nothing appeared recently done. The owners were notified and said they would check the building and secure the door.

East Palestine

— Officers responded at 7:57 p.m. on Thursday to an incident involving a truck driver and a flagger on East Taggart Street.

— A complaint was taken at 1:08 p.m. on Thursday from a resistance on East Grant Street who reported being contacted by an individual claiming to be LifeLock. The resident reported they allowed the caller to access their computer and banking information before becoming suspicious during the call. The bank stopped the fraudulent charges before they occurred.

— Officers responded at 10:12 a.m. on Thursday on North Market Street to check on a man after he was acting erratically at the Circle K. The man admitted he was intoxicated and was transported to his East Martin Street home and advised him not to leave the house again until he was sober.

— Officers responded at 12:47 a.m. at an alleged overdose at Alice Street on Thursday.

— Officers responded at 7:56 p.m. to West Martin Street for a civil matter involving a personal property transfer Wednesday.

— Officers spoke with a man at 2:52 p.m. on Wednesday who reports someone had trespassed on his property and allowed a dog to defecate. The officer could not make contact with the subject.

— Officers took a report at 12:39 p.m. on Wednesday of a private property crash on South Market Street.

— Officers responded at 11:52 a.m. to the recycling center for a littering complaint involving a male subject possibly discarding trash in one of the recycling bins on Canton Road on Wednesday.

— Officers responded at 6:30 p.m. to Alice Street to a complaint of a speeding vehicle on Sept. 26. The car left the area before officers arrived but was able to identify the driver through video.

— Officers responded at 12:43 a.m. on Sept. 26 to West Martin Street to a report of a suspicious person. The subject was not located.

— A resident responded at 9:47 a.m. that someone entered her home and stole items on East Main Street on Sept. 24.

— A resident called to report at 4:19 p.m. that a purse was found at the Car Wash on North Sumner Street on Sept. 24.

— Bradley Yrates, no age or address provided, was arrested for obstructing justice after he allegedly fled during a traffic stop at McDonald’s on South Market Street at 5:28 a.m. on Sunday.

— Officers arrested Brian Davis, no age or address provided, following a traffic stop at 10:08 p.m. on Bacon Avenue on Saturday. An officer allegedly smelled alcohol in the car and Davius failed the field sobriety test. Three juveniles were in the car. Davis was charged with OVI, endangering children and open container. The matter was forwarded to children services.

Wellsville

— Officers were dispatched on Sept. 19 at 4:13 p.m. to Ninth and Commerce streets in response to a traffic collision. A female involved in the crash, who was pregnant, was transported to the hospital by Life Team EMS when she started experiencing abdominal pain due to the crash.

— Officers were dispatched to Schoub Tower on Sept. 22 at noon for a hit-skip. A female reported that her car had been hit sometime during the night. A vehicle parked in front of hers also appears to have been hit.

Liverpool Township

— An officer was dispatched on Sept. 30 at 12:34 a.m. for a report of traffic cones being hit on state Route 11. The officer along with an officer from St. Clair Township picked up and fixed as many cones as they could.

— An officer conducted a traffic on Parkway Street on Sept. 30 at 10:49 a.m. for expired plates and discovered the driver Richard Heaton, 48, address not provided, had an outstanding warrant. A Columbiana County sheriff deputy stopped at the scene. The officer issued Heaton a citation for the expired plates and transferred him to the sheriff who transported Heaton to jail. First Class Towing towed the vehicle.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on Boring Lane on Sept. 30 at 11:33 a.m. for a vehicle traveling 46 mph. Mark Hays, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on state Route 7 on Sept. 30 at 11:35 p.m. for a vehicle traveling 80 mph in a 55-mph zone. Austin Hughes, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on state Route 7 on Oct. 3 at 1:31 a.m. for a vehicle traveling 74 mph in a 55-mph zone. Michel Beaver, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed.
