— Police received a call at 9:46 p.m. Saturday for a possible drunken male leaving Smith Oil gas station. An officer followed the vehicle, saw an infraction and pulled the vehicle over, but there were no signs of impairment.
— A noise complaint was reported at 6:42 p.m. Saturday on West Washington Street. Officers spoke with the people regarding loud music and told them to lower the volume.
— A report at 9:07 a.m. Sept. 22 said the door of McKinley Elementary School was damaged by students at 7:10 a.m. The school district was handling the disciplinary actions, but requested a report for the damages.
— An officer responded to Circle K on North Market Street for a report at 6:25 a.m. Sept. 21 of a man asking people if they can get him alcohol and if they can use his ID to get him some. He was already off the property when the officer arrived. He was told if he goes back to the property, he’ll be arrested.
— Police were called at 7:01 p.m. Sept. 19 to the area of North Jefferson Avenue near Jerome and Lee for a reported domestic. An officer was flagged down by a bystander who said persons involved left in separate vehicles chasing each other. While checking the area, police were called to the 300 block of Pine Street for another domestic and located the previously reported vehicles. Both vehicle occupants said there had been an argument at the previous residence and nothing physical occurred.
— An officer checked on a vehicle at Cedar Park at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 19 and learned from the owner the vehicle had run out of gas.
— An officer responded to Smith Oil on Lincoln Way at 4:43 p.m. Sept. 19 to meet with a deputy who had been approached by a village resident requesting a ride. The village resident was found to be under the influence and told to return home.
— A dirt bike was reported in the road in the area of Washington Street and Maple Street at 4:21 p.m. Sept. 19, but was not found.
— People were reported trespassing in the 30000 block of Saltwell Road at Applegrove apartments at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday. An officer located the people in question and told them to stay off of the caller’s property.
— Officers were notified at 10:37 a.m. Sept. 19 that two juveniles ran away from the Opportunity School. Police located the juveniles and stood by until the sheriff’s office arrived.
— A glass smoking device was recovered by police at Dollar General, Rose Drive, after a caller at 8:57 a.m. Sept. 19 reported narcotic equipment found in the parking lot.
— An alarm was reported at the Government Services Building on Dickey Drive at 4:05 a.m. Sept. 14, but all the doors and windows were secure. An alarm was also reported at Eagles Christian Preschool on Lincoln Way, with the building secure.
— Small amounts of suspected narcotics were found by K-9 Otis during a traffic stop at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 12 on Chestnut Street and Vine Street.
— Police were dispatched at 8:19 p.m. Sept. 11 to the area of state Route 154 and state Route 11 to assist with an ongoing vehicle pursuit with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The K-9 unit was also requested to assist due to the fleeing person crashing and running in the area of Buckeye and Rollercoaster Road.
— Police were called at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 10 to the Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce for a female who had fallen. She was checked out before being transported by a third party.
— During a traffic stop at 9:29 p.m. Sept. 10, Christian Tyler Bradford, 26, Canton, was cited for driving under suspension and police located several items of suspected narcotics.
— During a traffic stop at 9:33 p.m. Sept. 8, police found narcotics in the vehicle after K-9 Otis was deployed.
Columbiana
— Michael Walton, 43, Columbiana, was cited for driving without a license following a traffic stop at Circle K on N. Main St. at 5:26 p.m. on Sept. 24.
— Officers assisted at 11:27 a.m. on Sept. 23, in locating an elderly dementia patient who had left home without caretakers.
— Officers assisted the county sheriff with serving an arrest warrant at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 22 on Main St.
— Officers assisted at 11:27 a.m. on Sept. 23, in locating an elderly dementia patient who had left home without caretakers.
— Officers responded at 1:16 p.m. to state Route 7 on Sept. 18 to a report of a medical emergency. At the scene it was discovered a mother and son were arguing about the mother needing her blood sugar checked. The mother refused any medical treatment and was given a ride back to her residence. No crime had occurred and no medical assistance was necessary.
— Officers arrested John Joseph Ralph Buonocore , no age, New Jersey, at 9:35 a.m. on Sept. 18 at Farmers National Bank on state Route 14. He was charged with identity fraud after he attempted to pass himself as another person.
— Jerrid Kotsch, 37, Lisbon, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. following a traffic stop on state Route 7 and charged with having weapons under disability, falsification, possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia. Kotsch was detained as a fugitive from justice, Sept. 17.
— Phillip Miller, no age given, Leetonia, was cited for driving under suspension, at 3:37 p.m. on Sept. 17.
— An Allen Ave. resident reported at 1:17 p.m. on Sept. 17 that they were tricked into giving out personal information and all but $3 was taken from their savings account.
— Jeno Atkins, 28, Steubenville, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on Highland Ave. at 1:23 a.m. on Sept. 17.
— A man was found sleeping in the city park at 12:53 a.m. on Sept. 17 and was advised the park closes at 12 a.m.
— Officers responded to Cricket Lane at 6:42 p.m. for an intoxicated driver on Sept. 16. After investigation Matthew Korziorynsky, no age or address given, was arrested for physical control.
— Officers responded at 6:12 p.m. to Pittsburgh Street on Sept. 16 to a trespass complaint.
— Jaylell Shorter, no age provided, Youngstown was charged with driving under suspension following a traffic stop at 2:28 p.m. on Sept. 12 on state Route 7.
— Joseph Burke, 27, Youngstown was charged with fictitious registration and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on N. Main St. at 7:47 p.m. on Sept. 11.
— Officers responded to N. Vine St. at 6:59 .m. to a report of a missing vehicle on Sept. 10. The vehicle was located.
— Samuel Albright, 39, East Liverpool, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, marked lanes, criminal damaging and two counts endangering children while operating a vehicle following a traffic stop at Dunkin Donuts on Sept. 9. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
— Eric Thompson, 32, Jent, was cited at 9:44 p.m. for marked lanes and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 46 on Sept. 9.
— Officers responded at 3:36 p.m. on Sept. 9 about a private property crash at the Dollar General on state Route 14.
— A man came to the station on Sept. 7 at 9 p.m. to report vehicles had been tampered with at his residence on N. Elm. St.
— Dylan Thomas, no age provided, Columbiana, and Trenton Mathes, no age provided, Columbiana were arrested at 8:10 p.m. on Sept. 7. and charged with failure to comply following a pursuit on Industrial Dr.
