– Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 10th Street at 4:22 a.m. Monday where a resident reported hearing people in the vacant upstairs apartment, including a female voice saying “help me.” Officers did not hear any noise from the apartment and attempted contact, but found the door locked and no one answering.
– Officers at 11:55 p.m. Sunday found a man behind a business in the 2300 block of East State Street who said he was walking home and heard someone calling for help. The man said when he went to see what was the matter, the person ran away. Officers attempted to find the other person without success.
– Shelby Naylor, 30, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension and expired registration following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West State Street at 8:50 p.m. Sunday.
– Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 6:34 p.m. Sunday where employees of a business reported a man was asked to leave the store, but he remained on the property after exiting the building. Officers spoke with the man who agreed to leave the property.
– Thomas L. Peterson, 59, Medina, was arrested for a parole violation, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and a felony warrant after officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 4:38 p.m. Sunday where he was rummaging through a dumpster at Sebo Stadium. He reportedly walked away from officers, refusing to identify himself, then ran from officers before being caught in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
– Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue to assist Perry Township officers with a domestic. Officers stood by while Perry Township officers conducted their investigation and took a person into custody.
– Officers responded to the 400 block of South Lundy Avenue at 3:15 p.m. Sunday in reference to juveniles throwing apples into the roadway. Officers located the juveniles and advised them to stop.
– Officers responded to the 200 block of West Eighth Street at 2:15 p.m. Sunday where a woman reported she wanted her property that was left at her ex-boyfriend’s home. She was able to recover most of her property and advised she would get the court involved to retrieve the rest.
– Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Pershing Street at 12:06 p.m. Sunday where a resident reported medication missing from her residence. The resident said it had been there Friday and since then a few people had been inside the home.
