— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:48 p.m. Tuesday on Georgetown-Damascus Road in Knox Township, but was not found.
— A woman on Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, reported at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday that her ex-boyfriend hacked into her phone. She wanted a report on file.
Salem
— Officers on patrol at 2:48 a.m. Thursday observed two juveniles in front of the high school out past curfew. Officers spoke with the juvenile’s guardians and got them home safely for the night.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday for a report of theft. The caller advised a person he knew stole a credit card but left on foot prior to officers’ arrival. Further investigation showed the caller was unsure if the card was lost or stolen. The caller was advised to contact officers if the card was found, and officers checked the area for the person in question but were unable to locate him.
— Officers responded to the area of Prospect Street at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a tree down near Kelley Park. Officers notified the street department who removed the tree.
— Officers responded to the 800 block of West Wilson Street at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday for a 911 hang-up call. Officers spoke with the residents and everything appeared to be normal.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of North Union Avenue at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller, who was a juvenile, advised that multiple other juveniles were waiting to jump her. Officers checked the area but did not see anyone.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. A possible license plate was provided and returned a potential owner. Officers checked the area but did not locate any vehicles fitting the description.
— Officers responded to a business in the 2800 block of East State Street at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday for a juvenile complaint. Employees advised that multiple juveniles had found a radio and were using it to say profanities to other employees. Officers spoke with the juveniles advising them of the complaint and to leave the store.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of Continental Drive at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a missing elderly man with a walker. Officers checked the area and learned the man had potentially reached Dunkin Donuts. Officers responded to the business and found the man to be sitting outside. A nurse from the facility responded and transported the man back to the facility.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with both parties, finding them to be intoxicated. Further investigation showed the dispute to be verbal only. One of the parties were picked up by a friend and left for the remainder of the night.
— Officers responded to the area of South Lundy Avenue and East State Street at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a disorderly man. The caller advised a man in a vehicle had sped down the alley behind Boneshakers and started screaming at one of the staff members before speeding off west toward South Lundy, stopped, continued his disorderly behavior before leaving the area. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. The caller was advised to contact officers if the man returned.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Eighth Street at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday for a wellness check on a man who was reported to be sending questionable text messages in reference to committing suicide. Officers spoke with a family member at the residence who had no idea where the person had gone and couldn’t provide much information. Officers checked the area for several minutes but were unable to locate him.
— Officers responded to the 800 block of East State Street at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a domestic dispute. The caller advised that a man and woman were outside having a verbal altercation. Officers spoke with both involved parties and confirmed the dispute to be verbal only. Both parties were sent their separate ways.
— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic in progress. Officers spoke with two women who advised they’d been in a verbal argument only and nothing physical had occurred.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday to speak with a woman about missing items from her residence. The items were located in the residence.
