-- An ATV/dirt bike complaint was taken at 8:32 p.m. Saturday on King Road, Butler Township. A deputy spoke with the grandmother who said they had not been on the neighbor's property and were finished for the night.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:32 a.m. June 20 to Lower Elkton Road, Fairfield Township, for a male with dementia who said he was involved in a domestic. After an investigation, it was determined the man was not involved in a domestic, but was having a medical emergency.
-- A verbal domestic dispute was reported at 3:41 a.m. June 20 on Valley Road, Butler Township. Both parties denied any physical violence and said it was just an ongoing argument about their relationship.
Lisbon
-- Officers were called at 1:11 a.m. Saturday to the Days Inn parking lot, state Route 154, for a female who was dropped off and left by a friend. She said they had both been drinking and he just dropped her off and left her. She called her dad and he came to get her.
-- Officers were dispatched at 7:58 p.m. Friday to Fleming House, Lisbon, for a female on the porch who did not belong there. A resident who called said she appeared to be on some type of drug and possible domestic violence had occurred. She had left when police arrived and was found walking just outside the village limits, in a wooded area. She said she didn't need any help and was just charging her phone when she was on the porch. She denied any drug usage or domestic. She was told the officer was there to check on her well-being and she again said she was fine and didn't need any help.
-- Police responded at 11:19 p.m. Friday to the BP gas station, state Route 154, for a report that a rock flew out of the bed of a truck and hit the windshield of another vehicle. Both parties were told the accident happened outside the village jurisdiction. They agreed they just wanted to share information.
-- Brandon Phillips, 19, Plymouth Street, Hanoverton, was cited for assured clear distance after his vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle turning into the Juvenile Court lot on West Lincoln Way at 10:54 a.m. Friday.
-- A resident on Garfield Street, Lisbon, reported at 11:02 p.m. June 19 that someone was banging on their door and leaving.
-- To assist the sheriff's office, an officer responded to a call at 10:36 a.m. June 18 on Grant Street from a woman who believed two males were in her trailer. No one was located inside.
-- During a traffic stop for a marked lanes violation on South Market Street at 3:14 a.m. June 18, police found suspected marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia in a vehicle. Items were seized and submitted for destruction.
-- Officers were called at 10:35 p.m. June 17 to Circle K on North Market Street for reports of harassment and a customer texting and stalking. The suspect was contacted and told to stop at contact.
-- A neighbor complaint was reported at 7:34 p.m. June 17 on Maple Street where a woman said she previously talked to a neighbor and made arrangements for them to come over, then they entered the residence unannounced. She wanted an officer to speak to the neighbor about knocking next time prior to entering.
-- Police were called at 1:43 p.m. June 17 to Thomas Road for a burning complaint. A fire pit was found smoking and no one was there. The caller said the fire had a large flame not too long ago and the residents had left. The homeowner arrived and said he would spray water on the smoldering fire pit.
-- Wires were reported down in the 200 block of Summit Street at 12:38 p.m. June 17. The fire department responded.
-- At 1:44 p.m. June 16, a woman reported she was washing her truck at the Lisbon car wash on June 14 when a man opened the door and began to get into the passenger seat. She said she yelled at him and he told her he put his bicycle in the bed of the truck and that she was his neighbor and he wanted a ride home to his residence on state Route 164. She recognized him and gave him a ride home, but wanted a report on file in case anything else happened.
-- At 6 p.m. June 15, Lisbon police assisted sheriff's deputies in locating a vehicle that left the scene of a crash at Discount Drug Mart, conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle at state Route 45 and Black Road until a deputy could arrive.
-- Officers at 2:23 a.m. June 14 were dispatched to Apple Grove Apartments for a medical. A female was taken by NorthStar EMS to Salem Regional Medical Center.
Salem
-- Officers responded to the area of Centennial Park at 5:20 a.m. Monday for a report of a suspicious person. Officers located and spoke with the person, advising him to return home for the day.
-- Officers responded to the Salem Regional Medical Center at 4:06 a.m. Monday for a report of the hospital allegedly keeping a man's property. While on scene officers observed hospital staff attempt to go through the man's property with him, and the man kept saying he didn't want to speak to the staff. After speaking with officers, the man agreed to cooperate with staff.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 3:38 a.m. Monday to assist the fire department with a vehicle fire. Officers stood by with the fire department until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of Arch Street at 2:32 a.m. Monday to speak with a woman about a prior incident which is under investigation. Officers spoke with them regarding the information on the property.
-- Officers responded to Centennial Park at 1:42 a.m. Monday for a report of a suspicious person there after hours. Officers advise the person to leave for the night.
-- Officers responded to a business in the 2300 block of East State Street at 11:16 p.m. Sunday for a report of multiple people going through the dumpster and being very loud. Officers advised all of them to leave the area for the remainder of the night.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive at 10:44 p.m. Sunday for a reported burglary in progress. Officers found the front door to be forced open, and when the caller arrived on scene, she advised her daughter was observed on her doorbell camera kicking the door in. The daughter was located inside the residence and advised to come out, which she did. The caller refused to pursue the matter and allowed the daughter to remain outside the residence on the front porch.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of West Ninth Street at 10:38 p.m. Sunday for a report of two people having a dispute in the front yard. Officers arrived and advised them to keep it down for the night and stay away from each other.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of Arch Street at 10:16 p.m. Sunday for a report of an altercation between two people. Officers spoke with all parties involved and found the incident to be a verbal altercation only. Both parties involved separated for the night.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Seventh Street at 9:44 p.m. Sunday for a report of a teenage male that was kicked out of the home by his mother. Officers spoke to all parties involved and found the incident to be a misunderstanding. Officers advised all parties to keep separated for the night.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 8:52 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers spoke with a man who advised he had pulled over to use his phone. The man left the area without issue.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of East Third Street at 8:35 p.m. Sunday for a reported threat. The caller advised that her husband was threatening to kill the dog. Officers advised the caller she would have to contact Perry Township due to the threats occurring at their residence.
-- Officers responded to the area of Franklin Avenue and Washington Street at 8:01 p.m. Sunday for a report of juveniles knocking over construction barrels and signs. Officers checked the area but did not locate any knocked over barrels nor any juveniles in the area.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of Arch Street at 6:24 p.m. Sunday for a reported theft. The caller advised a man known to him used his cell phone without his permission and it is now missing. Officers spoke with the man who advised he did not know where the phone went. The caller wanted to pursue charges, and the case was forwarded to the Columbiana County prosecutor.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 4:55 p.m. Sunday for a possible car accident. Officers found no indication of a car accident, and checked the surrounding street and blocks but nothing was observed.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cleveland Street at 4:06 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic in progress. Officers spoke with the male half who advised that the female half had left prior to their arrival. The man advised the woman began yelling and screaming for no reason and even broke a glass candle outside. He advised the dispute was verbal only and officers spoke with the female half's mother on the phone, who advised she had talked to her daughter and that she was fine and not home. Officers advised the man to call back if needed.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Newgarden Avenue at 3:04 p.m. Sunday for a loud explosion that was possibly fireworks. It was advised that they were being set off somewhere behind the caller's residence. Officers were advised of a possible location in which they were coming from. Officers responded to the 400 block of Mullins and spoke with a man who advised he was not setting fireworks off.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of East Third Street at 1:58 p.m. Sunday for a report of people inside the caller's apartment. The caller pointed to an empty chair and said there was a person sitting down, and nobody was located inside and the person declined any medical attention.
-- Officers responded to the Salem Public Library at 1:13 p.m. Sunday for an active burglary alarm. The door had not been secured the night before and a man was located inside attempting to check items out. He was informed the library was closed on Sundays in the summer. A keyholder responded and secured the building.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Third Street at 9:22 a.m. Sunday to assist EMT after they were called about a woman in the residence who was sleeping in the hallway. When officers arrived there was no woman at the residence.
-- Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 1:29 a.m. Sunday for a report of a woman curled up in the driver seat of a vehicle that was halfway into the roadway from the parking lot. Dispatch advised that the woman was breathing but unresponsive, and officers arrived on scene, and the woman woke up and was checked out by the fire department and EMT and was transported to the Salem Community Hospital. The woman, Chelsea Davis, Youngstown, was cited for driving under suspension.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 11:05 p.m. Saturday for a reported dispute. Officers spoke with all parties who were bickering back and forth and were advised to stay away from one another as this was the second time officers responded for the same issue. All parties went their separate ways.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of juveniles riding their bikes on the track. Officers spoke with the juveniles and advised them to stop riding their bikes on the track.
-- Officers responded to the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Saturday for a report of a 911 hang-up call at the above location. Officers located the owner of the phone and determined it to be accidental.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of 8:52 p.m. Saturday for a report of an unwanted person. The caller advised that he wanted the person removed from his rental property, and it was determined that the person was a guest of the person renting the property. The caller was advised the person was allowed to be there. The incident began from an argument regarding a dog. The involved parties agreed to separate for the night.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 6 p.m. Saturday regarding a man harassing her at work and through text and phone calls. Information was collected, with further investigation pending.
East Liverpool
- Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Bradshaw Avenue on May 24 at 10:58 a.m. for a report of a females attempting to assault another female. Officers made contact with the females and advised the one attempting the assault she would be arrested if it happened again.
- Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Bradshaw Avenue on May 24 at 7:04 p.m. for a report of two sisters fighting. Officers made contact with a relative that said the females had been arguing but they had both left. Officers were flagged down by one of the females who said she wanted to get her belongings from the house, and they stood by while she gathered her things and left.
- Officers were dispatched to West 8th Street May 24 for a vehicle in the middle of the road. Officers arrived and saw a vehicle cockeyed in the middle of street surrounded by other vehicles. Officers spoke with someone on the scene who said they saw the vehicle coast backwards from Shadyside to Dairy Queen and they put the vehicle in park. Officers spoke with the driver who was an elderly female and seemed confused. EMS was called to take the female to the hospital due to her mental state. The officer attempted to move the vehicle from the road but experienced the same problem with it coasting backwards and called First Class Towing to move it.
