-- Deputies were called at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday to Drug Mart, state Route 45, Lisbon, for a hit/skip in the parking lot. Lisbon police had the other party pulled over on Black Road. Information was collected from both parties and the caller was advised to contact the other person's insurance company.
-- A woman on Sunset Drive, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday that the bottom half of her residence on the northside was on fire and she used a fire extinguisher to put it out. She just wanted a report.
-- An overdose was reported at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 14, Unity Township.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 62 at Damascus-Georgetown Road, Butler Township, for a man hitting a woman in a vehicle while the vehicle was moving. The vehicle could not be found.
-- A missing juvenile was reported at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday on Hanna Drive, Hanover Township.
-- A man on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, reported at 2:47 p.m. Sunday that he left his fishing gear in a friend's vehicle and the friend is refusing to give the gear back. He said this happened a month or two ago and he couldn't handle it himself anymore.
-- A woman on Hillcrest Road, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 10:19 p.m. Saturday that her utility trailer was on fire. West Point Fire Department was on scene.
Lisbon
-- Clara Richards, 25, Sherman Street, Lisbon, was cited for reasonable control for striking the pole at the pavilion near the Sadie Van Fossen pool at 3:50 p.m. June 9. A caller said a white Chrysler struck the pavilion and took off. Police learned that Richards had been driving and she said the brakes had not worked properly and her father drove the vehicle home to Sherman Street.
-- Delores Lilly, 58, West Washington Street, Lisbon, and Brenda Kay Frye, 57, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, were each charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting frozen food at the Dollar General in Lisbon on June 8.
-- A man in the area of Maple Street near South Lincoln Avenue reported at 11:58 p.m. June 7 that he was being harassed. He said he was just trying to move his stuff out so he could go live at his grandmother's house, but there were a few guys yelling at him through the door. Police waited to leave until he collected some belongings and left.
-- Police assisted at 8:55 p.m. June 7 at Applegrove Apartments on Saltwell Road with an elderly female who was not feeling well. West Point Fire Department responded and took her to Salem Regional Medical Center.
East Liverpool
-- An officer spoke on May 18 at 2:19 p.m. to an employee at Dairy Queen who reported a Door Dash driver got an order and then canceled it after picking it up. Dairy Queen was advised to report it to Door Dash.
-- Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Market Street on May 18 at 10:32 a.m. for a report of a female harassing people for cigarettes. The officer spoke to the female and told her to move along.
-- Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Ohio Avenue on May 18 at 10:43 a.m. for a disturbance report. Officers arrived and spoke with a male and a female. The female identified as Tina (Tia) Miller, 33, address not provided, had an active warrant and was taken into custody.
-- On May 18 at 2:00 p.m. an officer spoke to a female in the 700 block of Cain Street who reported that someone had egged her car and the eggs had dried and ruined her paint.
-- An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Smith Street on May 19 at 10:58 a.m. The caller reported a female who seemed under the influence of drugs. Officers checked the area but found nothing.
-- Officers received a call on May 19 at 1:26 p.m. to the 600 block of Bradshaw Avenue for the removal of a former employee from the business. The male was transported off the property to his home and advised that he could be charged if he went back there.
-- Officers responded on May 19 at 11:45 a.m. to a report of suspicious activity on First Avenue. Officers made contact with Derek Thompson, 28, address not given, who was standing in the middle of the street and appeared to be under the influence. EMS was requested but Thompson refused treatment. Due to an active warrant Thompson was placed under arrest.
-- On May 19 at 2:50 p.m., officers responded to East Liverpool hospital for a report of assault. A female who has an active protection order against Edward Torres, age and address not provided, said Torres assaulted her. Torres has been charged multiple time with violating the protection order and officers found that he did recklessly violate the terms of the order by failing to leave the area the female occupied and that he did knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to the female by strangling and striking her in the face.
-- An officer on May 19 at 1:57 p.m. responded to a report of theft at the Hot Dog Shoppe on Market Avenue. The officer made contact with a male who said he ordered food with a credit card and the staff did not return his card. The officer requested the manager check again for the card. The card was found and returned. It was noted that the card was not stolen, just misplaced.
-- An officer responded to Jefferson and West 7th streets for a noise complaint on May 19 at 10:09 a.m. Upon arrival the officer was not able to make contact with anyone.
-- Officers were dispatched on May 20 at 2 p.m. to the 900 block of St. George Street for a male urinating on the side of a building. The male, identified as William Lingenfelter, admitted to the officer that he did urinate on the building, and he did it because there was a line for the bathroom. He also said he was confronted about it by someone because of the playground next door, but he didn't see any children. Lingenfelter was issued a misdemeanor for public urination and given a court date.
-- Officers were dispatched to Ohio Avenue on May 21 at 4:08 p.m. for a report of a couple male juveniles chasing a female juvenile. Officers checked the area but found nobody.
-- Officers were dispatched to Mulberry Street on May 21 at 11 a.m. for a disturbance report. Bystanders told officers a black Dodge truck was chasing a male and a female who were on foot and the female said he has a gun. The truck struck another vehicle while chasing the two and left the scene.
-- Officers were dispatched the 1600 block of Etruria Street on May 21 at 8:15 p.m. for a female who stumbled onto a neighbor's porch. Officers spoke with the female who was sitting on the ground near the street, and she told them she was waiting on a cab.
-- An officer took a report on May 21 at 8:45 a.m. of a male stealing a camera from the 300 block of Wilbert Avenue. Officers were provided video footage of the male identified as Gordon Davis. Officers checked the area but could not locate him.
-- Officers responded to a report of juveniles in the old administration building on Erie Street with flashlights on May 21 at 8:41 p.m. Officers told the juveniles, who said they were making a music video, to stay out of there.
-- An officer responded to a parking problem for a car parked in the emergency zone in the 300 block of Moore Street on May 21 at 4:17 p.m. The owner was located and advised to move her vehicle and did so.
-- An officer on routine patrol on May 21 at 8:23 p.m. observed a car in front of him with something obstructing the license plate and registration sticker. The driver was issued a verbal warning.
-- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue on May 21 at 1:34 p.m. for possible breaking and entering. Officers saw no signs of forced entry and believe it was a cat inside that knocked things over.
-- On May 21 at 4:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block Etruria Street for people fighting. There were three people involved and officers are waiting for statements from two of them.
-- An officer sitting stationary on May 21 at 8:23 p.m. at the Broadway Wharf observed a flashlight on the train tracks near SeaFourth. The officer made contact with a male who said he works there and checks the tracks from that location to Newell Bridge due to people messing around with the locks on their fences.
-- Officers responded on May 21 at 3:28 p.m., to the 400 block of Prospect Street where they had received a complaint of loud music. The officer advised the male at the location that this was disorderly conduct and he needed to turn the music down.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of Sophia Street in regard to a dog bite complaint on May 21 at 7:05 p.m. Upon arrival the officers found the dog outside on a chain acting aggressive and lunging at the officers. The neighbor of the dog owner said her young son was bitten in the leg by the dog and sustained minor injury. Officers spoke with the dog's owner and advised them that it could have been a lot worse, and the dog needs to be kept in an area where the public does not run a chance of coming into contact with it.
St. Clair Township
-- Officers were dispatched to Chase Bank on June 5 at 3:12 p.m. for a report of a male making threats. Upon arrival, officers spoke to witnesses who said that Eugene Williams, 82, address not provided, was asking for $80,000 in cash from his account but was advised he did not have that much in the account. Williams told the teller he would be back with a gun to get that money one way or another. He was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated menacing.
-- An officer conducted a traffic stop on June 6 at 3:57 p.m. on East Liverpool Road after observing a female who he knew didn't have a valid license driving the car. Melissa Tamalonis, 31, address not provided, was placed under arrest for obstructing official business. While en route to the police station, Tamalonis admitted that she hid paper folds used to package narcotics in her genital area that contained cocaine. Additional charges of tampering with evidence and drug paraphernalia were added.
-- Officers were dispatched on June 7 at 6:38 p.m. to the Destiny House Church for a report of a male threatening his wife and church staff members. Robert Hamilton, 67, address not provided, was arrested for OVI.
-- On June 8 at 3:24 p.m., an officer was called to Y&O and Lyle roads for a female passed out behind the wheel of a car. Upon arrival, the officer was met by the caller who had the keys for the vehicle. The officer had a previous encounter with owner of the car Jennifer White, 41, address not provided, being passed out behind the wheel of the car after huffing. The caller handed the officer a can of compressed air that they took from White when they took the keys to the car. White was arrested for abusing harmful intoxicants and issued a court date.
-- An officer was dispatched on June 2 at 6:24 p.m. to Walmart for a female shoplifter. Susan Cooper, 50, address not provided, was arrested for petty theft after failing to scan and pay for five items totaling $40.61.
-- Officers spoke with a male by phone on June 13 at 9:40 p.m. who wanted to report an incident he had on Snap Chat with someone.
