East Liverpool
— Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Cadmus Street on May 17 at 9:38 p.m., for a car parked in the driveway of a condemned house. Officers spoke to a male at the residence who said he just bought the house and was dropping off supplies to work on it in the morning.
— Officers responded on May 17 at 2:11 p.m. to a business in the 1800 block of Harvey Avenue where an employee reported a truck showed up and parked that morning with no one around since. Officers could not make contact with the owner of the vehicle which was left in the lot for the business to have towed at the end of the day.
— Officers were dispatched to 900 block of Ambrose Avenue after a homeowner called and reported that she heard high schoolers pranking people and thought some of them may be in her yard. Officers checked her yard, but no one was there.
— On May 17 at 12:25 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Lisbon Street on a vehicle driven by Ta-ron Tisdale, 28, address not provided. Tisdale failed to stop and started to travel north on state Route 267 where he abandoned the vehicle and started to flee on foot. Tisdale was taken into custody after the foot pursuit.
— Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Bank Street on May 17 at 8:09 p.m. for a female that was arguing with her uncle. Officers arrived and spoke with the female who said her uncle had pushed her and locked her out of the house and she just wants her clothes and other belongings so she can leave. Officers stood by while the female gathered some of her belongings and left.
St. Clair Township
— On May 22 at 1:17 p.m., officers received a call from a property owner in the 46000 block of Florence Street reporting that while cleaning a section of his property he found a Taurus 9 mm pistol in two plastic bags.
— A female called on May 22 at 7:50 a.m. to report damage to her vehicle, possibly while she had it at Tractor Supply on May 9.
— On May 23 at 2:14 p.m., officers went to a residence in 48000 block of Bloomfield Road to try and serve an arrest warrant for Joshua Watkins, 35. Officers made contact with the homeowners and Watkins and advised Watkins he needed to step outside. Watkins was placed under arrest and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— On May 23 at 5:11 p.m., while on patrol an officer conducted a traffc stop on state Route 11 for an equipment violation on the vehicle. The driver, Robert Simms, age and address not provided, told the officer he didn’t have a valid license or proof of insurance. Simms was issued a citation and his vehicle was towed.
— On May 23 at 12:03 p.m., a female came to the station to report that her debit card was used at the ATM inside Walmart to withdraw $400 without her permission. The female said the card was taken from a friend’s vehicle on May 20. She said she wanted to press charges against whoever it was the video shows using her card.
— Officers were dispatched to Chipotle on Dresden Avenue for a fight on May 24 at 10:08 p.m. Officers spoke with the store manager who said Amy Prager came there to confront the the store manager in regard to an ongoing family issue. Prager was issued a citation for disorderly conduct along with a court date.
— An officer was dispatched to the 49000 block of Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on May 24 at 1:49 p.m. to take a report from the resident who said his sister drove her vehicle through his yard.
— Officers were called to Walmart on May 25 at 11:56 a.m. for a female shoplifter identified as Kaylee Ploeg, 29, address not given. The loss prevention officer for Walmart told officers Ploeg was observed failing to scan and pay for 31 items which totaled $99.38. Ploeg was placed under arrest and charged with petty theft.
Lisbon
— A property owner on East High Street advised at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday that a survey company returned to remark the property line and she was going to mark each one with paint on the ground so she’ll know if they’re moved. She asked an officer to speak with the neighbor. The officer spoke with the neighbor and told her the property line was remarked and she was not to move the stakes again. The officer said they looked at a flower garden in the back corner that needs moved, bricks along the garage, the spouting and flower pots. The officer assisted her in moving a post from the front of her driveway so it’s on her property.
Sheriff’s Office
— A woman at 9:06 p.m. Thursday requested a welfare check on her child, who was at her father’s residence on West Main Street, Washingtonville. A deputy responded, but had no contact with anyone at the residence.
— Prowlers were reported at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday on Glasgow Road, Madison Township. The caller said the people had fled before deputies arrived. Deputies checked the area and property, but only deer were located.
— A deputy on patrol at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday located an occupied Ram truck at the Lincoln Way Sales, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon. The driver was picking up a trailer from the business in the morning, but by the time he reached the business he was out of hours. He was staying the night inside his truck until morning when the business operators arrive. He appeared to have appropriate documentation.
