-- An officer responded to a dispute between neighbors at 463 First Ave. on May 8 at 4:38 p.m. and advised the two to stay away from each other.
-- On May 8 at 6:53 p.m. officers responded to a report of what appeared to be a small child walking by themselves behind the Riverview Florists and found it to be a statue.
-- The Liverpool Township school resource officer was dispatched to Westgate School to take a report of a sexual assault involving juveniles on May 8 at 10:31 a.m.
-- A car pulled up to the police station and a male jumped out of the vehicle on May 8 at 8:42 p.m. When the officer went to speak with the male, he noticed a female in the car crying. The male told the officer the female is his ex-girlfriend and she has drugs in her purse. The two had been arguing. When she told the officer she just wanted to leave, the officer checked that she had a valid license, sent her on her way and told the male to leave her alone for the night.
-- On May 8 at 5:46 p.m. an officer responded to 709 Sophia St. for a report of a dog attack. A male reported that his dog was attacked by another dog while chained up and he just wanted it reported.
-- Officers on May 8 at 3:12 p.m. searched a home at the dead end of Daisy Lane for possible squatters. Officers found a suspected white narcotic on a table and a window open which they suspect someone exited through.
-- On May 8 at 5:54 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on state Route 39 for a vehicle with no visible plate and dark tinted windows. The driver, identified as Byron Carner, age and address not provided, was issued a traffic citation and court date for the dark window tint and driving under suspension. First Class Towing impounded the vehicle.
-- An officer observed a female suspected of having a warrant walking on West Fifth Street and checked dispatch to verify. Once a warrant was verified for the female identified as Indya Spann the officer attempted to stop her and she began running. The officer located her and found on her a container with suspected crack cocaine and a baggie with suspected meth. Both items were bagged for evidence and sent to BCI and Spann was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers responded on May 8 at 12:47 p.m. to 1215 Erie St. for a report of people possibly inside the vacant house. Officers found the house secure and no one inside.

-- Solomon Robbins Jr., 67, Youngstown, was charged with OVI and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 7 at state Route 14 at 9:30 p.m. May 12.
-- Tiffany M. Rabquer, 33, Boardman, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office following a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street at 9:37 p.m. May 13. Benjamin L. White, 26, Girard, was also arrested for obstructing official business for hindering the investigation.
-- Marcus Marshall, 21, Leetonia, was cited for expired registration and failure to reinstate license following a traffic stop on state Route 14 at 6:14 p.m. May 16.
-- Kaleb B. Messersmith, 23, Hubbard, was cited for driving under suspension and expired registration following a traffic stop at James Street and Bell Avenue at 9:18 a.m. May 17.
-- Brandon M. O'Neil, 29, New Springfield, was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Village Place at 2:01 p.m. May 17.
-- Scott Nelson, 40, Warren, was cited for driving while failure to reinstate following a traffic stop on Pittsburgh Street near South Main Street at 11:12 a.m. May 18.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of West Park Avenue at 4:32 p.m. May 18 in reference to a woman being thrown from a moving vehicle. Officers spoke to the woman who admitted to voluntarily jumping from the vehicle following an argument with her boyfriend.
Salem
-- A pick up truck struck a sign in the 1800 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 3:06 p.m. Saturday, shearing the post off at the base before fleeing the scene.
-- Officers responded to a 2800 b lock East State Street business at 2:03 p.m. Saturday in reference to a person to be removed from the store. The manager reported a customer was disputing a large transaction and wanted the managers to fix it through her bank. She was advised to call the number the managers provided her and to call her bank herself to dispute the transaction. The customer continued to create a scene and was trespassed from the store.
-- An East State Street resident reported at 11:26 a.m. Saturday his son ran away that morning, last seen running toward Centennial Park. Officers searched the area but could not find the juvenile. The juvenile was entered into LEADS as missing.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 4:47 a.m. Saturday in reference to a dispute and stood by while belongings were gathered.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of East Third Street at 3:36 a.m. Saturday where a resident reported hearing banging noises outside his door. Officers checked the area but were unable to find anyone.
-- Robert E. Chester, 52, West Pershing Street, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Stark County Sheriff's Office for aggravated possession of drugs after officers responded to the 200 block of South Howard Avenue at 12:09 a.m. Saturday in reference to a dispute.
-- A woman reported at 8:08 p.m. Friday her cell phone had been stolen from her vehicle while at Smith Oil the previous morning.
-- Officers responded to the 1300 block of Fairview Avenue at 7:49 p.m. Friday in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was found in the parking lot of Bob Evans and returned home.
-- The school resource officer at 2:10 p.m. Friday was advised of an alleged incident involving a female student. The information was turned over to children services and the detective bureau.
-- An officer responded to a 1200 block Salem Parkway business at 12:51 p.m. Friday where a complainant reported receiving a threatening text message from a former employee. The message appeared to be from a fake number and when contacted, the former employee denied having sent the text, speaking highly of the complainant.
-- Shaun Michael Uscianowski, 44, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office after officers responded to the 200 block of East Fourth Street at 6:59 a.m. Friday in reference to people squatting in a vacant home.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 10:25 p.m. Thursday where a resident reported an unknown man had been in her neighbor's backyard looking through the fence onto her property. Officers checked the area but could not find anyone.
-- Police responded to the area of Newgarden Avenue near Railroad Street at 10:02 p.m. Thursday in reference to an intoxicated man. The man was transported to the 1100 block of Maple Street.
-- Officers responded with medical personnel toth e 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 9:14 p.m. Thursday in reference to a choking juvenile. The juvenile was found to be crying and alert and the parents refused further treatment.
-- A North Ellsworth Avenue resident reported at 5:18 p.m. Thursday receiving death threats from an unknown person via Google chat.
-- An officer responded to the 500 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 2:57 p.m. Thursday in reference to a person to be removed and found it to be a civil matter.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of North Union Avenue at 1:53 p.m. Thursday in reference to a suspicious person knocking on doors. Officers spoke with the person in question and advised them to stop.
-- Officers responded to a 2800 block East State Street at 11:51 a.m. Thursday in reference to ongoing theft. Camera footage was provided for the investigation.
-- A South Union Avenue resident reported at 11:42 a.m. Thursday being harassed online. She was advised to contact the media outlet's customer service.
-- An officer responded to the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 10:05 p.m. May 24 where a woman reported being harassed via a messenger application.
-- An officer responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 10:05 p.m. May 24 where a woman reported being harassed while at work.
-- Charles Lewes Wellman, 49, and Kimberly L. Wellman, 52, both of West Fourth Street, Salem, were charged with domestic violence after officers responded to their home at 9:03 p.m. May 24 in reference to a domestic in progress and found both with injuries sustained from a physical altercation regarding a cell phone.
-- Officers responded to a 900 block West Wilson Street home at 7:59 p.m. May 24 where the residents reported their juvenile daughter had run away from home. Officers checked the area but were unable to find her. A short while later, the parents reported the juvenile was at a friend's house. Officers responded to the friend's house and transported the juvenile back home.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Rose Avenue at 7:27 p.m. May 24 in reference to an unwanted person on the property. The person in question was trespassed from the property and told not to return.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of East Fourth Street at 6:22 p.m. May 24 in reference to a person to be removed. The person had left prior to arrival of officers and the complainant said they did not want the person back on the property.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of West Wilson Street at 5:59 p.m. May 24 in reference to an unruly juvenile and found the juvenile in the 900 block of Prospect Street. When officers returned the juvenile to his home, the juvenile became disorderly and ran from officers, then began to assault an officer once apprehended. The juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and transported to the Tobin Center.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West 13th Street at 5:53 p.m. May 24 in reference to a juvenile not listening to his parents. Officers spoke with the juvenile.
-- An officer responded to a 2800 block East State Street business at 1:26 p.m. May 24 in reference to a woman walking up to customers in the parking lot attempting to get signatures. The officer spoke with the woman and advised she needed to leave the property and not return.
-- An officer responded to the 100 block of West Pershing Street at 10:38 p.m. May 24 in reference to a child custody dispute. The caller was advised to contact an attorney.
-- An officer responded to the area of Continental and Bentley at 10:11 a.m. May 24 where a woman reported her daughter was trying to get her deposit back from an apartment rental business. She was advised it is a civil matter.
