— A suspicious person was reported at 7:44 p.m. Nov. 7 in the 800 block of Louise Street.

— Police responded at 12:51 a.m. Nov. 7 to investigate a vehicle parked outside a nursing home on Selfridge Street, where the driver was napping before his long drive home. He was asked to move to the nearby church lot.

— An officer issued a verbal warning at 9:29 p.m. Nov. 6 for a stop sign violation at the corner of Jackson and Fifth Street.

— A fender bender was reported at 8:16 p.m. Nov. 6 near Myler Road and Lisbon Street, where a woman’s vehicle was struck and the perpetrator drove off.

— Downtown Giant Eagle reported at 3:18 p.m. Nov. 6 that two females had returned to the store a week after shoplifting liquor the week before.

— Troy Quinn, no address listed, was cited at 4:06 p.m. Nov. 8 for public intoxication, after being discovered in 1900 block of Smithfield Street unconscious. He was administered three doses of Narcan. Family members advised that he had been disposed there by a vehicle that pulled up and threw him in the roadway before fleeing.

— Police took a threats report at 10:56 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 800 block of Laura Avenue from subjects who wanted to pursue a restraining order.

— A resident of the 300 block of Wilbert Avenue reported at 7:16 p.m. Nov. 7 that she was being harassed by an ex-boyfriend via her cell phone.

— Police had to shut down traffic flow on the Jennings Randolph Bridge at 1:44 a.m. Saturday due to a wrong way driver from Hancock County.

— A resident of the 700 block of Fenton Street reported at 2:42 a.m. Saturday that a suspicious person had been looming around his house at all hours of the night. Even though police didn’t discover the intruder, they told the resident that they would do extra checks.

— Leroy McEldowney, no address listed, was cited at 4:16 a.m. Saturday for unreasonable noise, after he was playing loud music.

— A resident of the 700 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported at 11:36 p.m. Friday that several items have been removed from his home by a female suspect.

— Seth Alford, no address listed, was cited at 3:43 a.m. Friday for a red light violation, after allegedly making a right turn on red at Pennsylvania Avenue, where a sign clearly prohibits it.

— A tow truck driver was given a verbal warning at 2:10 a.m. Friday for a lights’ violation near state Route 7 south. He just had unloaded a car off the flatbed and forgot to turn the lights off.

— Police investigated suspicious activity at 2:31 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Wilbert Avenue, where two individuals allegedly were messing with wires on a vehicle stereo while holding a flashlight in his mouth for a friend.

— An officer responded at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday to a neighborhood dispute in the first block of Sophia Street.

— A suspicious person, wearing a hoodie and riding a mower, was reported at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Garfield Street.

— A Laura Avenue resident reported at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday that he had been walking home from the store when someone jumped out of a car on Minerva Street and hit him on his head.

— A truck was issued a verbal warning for a stop sign violation at 10:29 p.m. Tuesday in the intersection of Sixth and Monroe streets.

— A woman in the 900 block of Bank Street wanted an incident of an unknown argumentative person who exposed himself to her and her granddaughter at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday.

— Police responded at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 8 to the 500 block of College Street for persons who complained about a neighbor’s drug use and items disappearing from the building kitchen.

— An officer took a complaint at 8:14 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 400 block of Market Street about a male subject who was seen lurking outside his ex’s place of employment despite a no contact order.

— Officers responded at 3:13 a.m. Nov. 8 to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Davis Street. Neither party wanted to file charges.

— Suspicious activity was reported at 4:18 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 1600 block of Park Avenue.

— Clarence Manley, no address listed, was cited at 2:09 a.m. Friday for a red light violation, after allegedly making a right turn on red at Pennsylvania Avenue, where a sign clearly prohibits it.

Salem

— Police checked on the well-being of a male subject at 2:48 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of East State Street. He didn’t appear to be intoxicated or causing problems.

— Robert Smith, no address listed, was not cited at 5:29 p.m. Friday after allegedly sideswiping a Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Richard Groff in the area of Penn Avenue and East State Street and leaving the scene. Smith later called the police department to provide his vehicle and insurance information. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

— An unknown subject cut the catalytic converters off a vehicle sometime before 6:04 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of West State Street.

— John E. Kirchgessner, no address listed, was not cited at 12:17 p.m. Saturday, after allegedly backing into a car driven by Kevin Beadnell, no address listed, in a 2800 block of East State Street parking lot.

— A reckless operator complaint was investigated at 9:42 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Fourth Street.

— Police checked on the well being of a male subject at 7:21 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Seventh Street.

— Three juveniles were discovered lying in the roadway at 10:32 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of East State Street. Contact was made with the kids’ mother who said they had told her they were going to the vehicle. They were reminded to stay off the road.

— An alleged fight in the 500 block of East Pershing Street remains under investigation as of 1:40 a.m. Saturday.

Goshen Police District

— Police responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 10000 block of Pine Lake Road at 8:41 a.m. Nov. 1 in which a westbound driver allegedly passed out due to medical issues and traveled off the right side of the roadway into a ditch. The driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

— Police responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 11000 block of state Route 534 at 1:50 p.m. Nov. 2 in which a 16-year-old Homeworth Road, Alliance, resident allegedly had a mechanical issue with a wheel that caused the vehicle to travel off the roadway. No injuries were reported.

— Isaac William McIntosh, 18, West South Range Road, Salem, was cited for failure to control following a one vehicle-crash in which he was northbound in the 13000 block of Seacrist Road at 5 p.m. Nov. 5 and lost control of the vehicle, striking a guardrail and then a ditch. No injuries were reported.

— Jacob Cutchall, 37, U.S. Route 62, Damascus, was charged with a protection order violation after allegedly approaching the vehicle of Maryruth Cutchall in the West Branch Middle School parking lot against a protection order.

— A motorist in the area of U.S. Route 62 and Pine Lake Road reported at 5:04 a.m. Nov. 10 that a northbound vehicle traveling at high rate of speed had passed and struck their vehicle then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
