-- A disturbance was reported in the area of Haiti Road, Washington Township, at 10:45 a.m. Monday. Deputies found no one would answer the door or answer the phone where the call came from.
-- Children were reported riding motorcycles and ATVs recklessly in the area of Haiti Road, Washington Township, throwing gravel onto someone else's property at 12:34 p.m. Monday. Deputies spoke to the parents of one of the children reportedly involved. The mother said the neighbor's children ride their machines all the time, but when her children do it the neighbor complains. Deputies told the mother as long as the children are riding safely, with the proper gear and not trespassing or riding on the roadway they should be fine.
-- A Stanley Drive, Knox Township, resident reported at 11:51 p.m. Tuesday a deer was in the front yard and appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The deer's back legs were broken and the deputy put it down.
-- A prowler was reported knocking on the windows and entering a vehicle on a Lisa Lane, Center Township property at 2:59 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies checked the area and spoke with a neighbor north of that home, but did not locate anyone out in the area.
Salem
-- Police located a juvenile walking in the area of Sebo Stadium past curfew at 2:24 a.m. Wednesday. The juvenile said he fell asleep at a friend's house and was just walking home. He was unaware of the curfew due to recently moving from out of state. He was taken to his mother's residence on South Lundy and she was advised.
-- A caller at 1:54 a.m. Wednesday reported suspicious activity in the 1700 block of East State Street where two males were trying to hook a trailer up to a truck. They said they were moving the trailer for a friend who owns it and he confirmed the arrangement.
-- A domestic dispute was reported at 12:08 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Summit Street. A man said he and his live-in girlfriend had an argument and she left. She arrived back and also said it was only an argument.
-- A verbal dispute over a civil matter was reported at 9:57 p.m. Tuesday on Vine Avenue where a female wanted to pick up her son and was told by someone at the residence that he was in Columbiana with the grandmother. She was told it's a civil case and since she's not his legal guardian, she needs to contact a lawyer. She was also told to leave the Vine Avenue address.
-- A missing/runaway juvenile was reported at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday from the 400 block of East Sixth Street where the mother said the juvenile walked out the back door without permission and she did not know where she was. She looked for 10 to 15 minutes before calling police. The juvenile was located across the street and said she did not want to go home. Officers found a safe place for her to stay at her mother's friend's house on North Ellsworth with the mother's approval.
-- ATVs/dirt bikes were reported racing up and down the road and through alleys in the 800 block of East Fourth Street at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday. Officers located an ATV parked in the 900 block and the owner said the rider had already left. He was told they're only allowed to ride on their property, not on the streets or alleys.
-- Three occupants of a vehicle during a traffic stop for a registration violation in the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday were cited and taken to jail. A passenger known to have an active warrant was detained and K-9 Simon indicated to the presence of a narcotic odor. Contraband was recovered from the vehicle and three occupants. The driver received a warning for the registration violation. Arrestees included Robert Burges, 56, of South Union Avenue, for a charge of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for failure to appear on a drug paraphernalia charge, Diana Andre, 41, of Newgarden Avenue, for drug paraphernalia, and Anna Greeneisen, 38, of Benton Road, for possession of a drug instrument.
-- A caller at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday reported someone smoking marijuana at the basketball courts at Waterworth Memorial Park. All told police nobody was smoking and nobody claimed the paraphernalia after officers found two marijuana cartridges next to the court. All were warned about smoking and having marijuana. The cartridges were confiscated and destroyed.
-- A possible dirt bike and 4-wheelers were reported on the road at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday at East State and North Union. Officers in the 200 block of Vine saw a motorcycle doing a wheelie at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle fled as police attempted a traffic stop, continuing speeding and failing to comply with police and traffic signals. Due to safety and traffic, police suspended the pursuit.
-- Officers at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday saw a large amount of smoke coming from the rear of the 100 block of West Pershing Street, found an illegal fire and called the fire department to respond. The resident was unaware the fire had restarted from the night before. She was advised of open burning laws and given a warning. Firefighters put the fire out.
-- Officers at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday checked on a reckless driver who ended up at an east side business and appeared fine.
-- A vehicle partially in the street and driveway was reported at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday and moved by the owner in the 100 block of South Union.
-- Danielle Stanley, 32, of East Ninth Street, was charged with theft and taken to jail after a woman at 2:33 p.m. Tuesday said her neighbor took a pair of shoes that had been delivered to her. The neighbor confirmed taking the shoes when approached by the woman and returned them, but they had been worn and were dirty. She admitted to police that she took the shoes without consent.
-- Officers at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday saw smoke coming from the rear of a residence in the 1700 block of East Third Street. Officers spoke to the people near the fire and advised them of burning laws and the man put the fire out.
-- A scam/identity theft was reported at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday by a resident in the 400 block of West Third Street. There was no loss.
-- An insecure load was reported at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of East State Street and corrected by the driver.
-- A woman at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday reported a missing Home Depot card last seen Feb. 10-12. No new charges were on the card. She was told to report it to the store and set up a new account.
-- A man came to the station at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday to report a situation with his juvenile son. He was told to contact the school resource officer.
-- The school resource officer was advised at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday that a child showed up at Southeast School on Merle Road who does not go to Salem schools. The SRO and school administrator both spoke to the juvenile who explained her issues and why she came to the school. She was taken back to her residence. The situation is under investigation, with Children Services notified.
Perry Township
-- Police were called at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday for a line down blocking Jones Drive. It was a phone line which firefighters cut to reopen the road.
-- A clerk at Circle K South on South Lincoln Avenue reported at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday that a small plastic baggie containing an unknown substance was found in the parking lot. The substance was tobacco and discarded by police.
-- Larry Adkins III, 19, of Wellsville, was cited for no motorcycle license and a daytime riding only restriction after a traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday. The motorcycle was removed by a towing company.
-- A domestic was reported at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday at Ohio Boulevard and Grant Street, but nothing was found.
-- A resident from East Pidgeon Road spoke to an officer via phone at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday regarding a child custody issue. She was told to call family court.
-- A woman on Andrew Avenue reported Tuesday that she got a letter from the unemployment office indicating she filed for benefits. She was provided information on filing a fraud claim.
East Liverpool
-- A incident report documenting a crash at 3:18 p.m. Friday in the cloverleaf was generated. There was no injuries or damages noted.
-- A welfare check on a suicidal juvenile was noted at 9:48 a.m Friday in the 100 block of West Sixth Street.
-- Police were dispatched at 8:47 p.m. Friday to the 1700 block of Park Avenue to remove a highly intoxicated woman. She had left by the time they arrived.
-- Another subject of a welfare check in the 800 block of Riverview reported that she wasn't interested in speaking to officers at 8:02 p.m. Friday unless she was bing detained.
-- Someone cut the catalytic converter off his grandfather's Nissan Frontier that was parked in an open garage on Middle Alley sometime after September, a man reported Friday.
-- A woman reported at 9:13 p.m. Friday that a Columbia Gas employee allegedly stole an Amazon package off her front porch on Holliday Street, according to video. The worker, who was switching the gas meter, had picked up the package, which had blown off the porch. The package, valued at $25, was returned unopened and she declined to pursue criminal charges.
-- An officer responded at 6:39 p.m. Friday to loud music in the first block of Woodbine Street.
-- A four-wheeler complaint was received at 5:39 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Fairview Street.
-- Police responded to a custody dispute at 7:09 p.m. Friday in Blossom Hill Apartments.
-- A Bank Street man stated at 12:13 p.m. Friday that an ex-girlfriend, who has a protection order against him, threw a snow shovel through his front bay window.
-- A caller wanted to document a yelling match outside Heights Manor at 1:20 p.m. Saturday between subjects regarding child visitation.
-- Officers responded at 8:58 pm. Sunday to a unknown intoxicated female banging on her windows wanting in.
-- A property issue was reported at 3:8 pm. Friday in the 300 block of Blakely Street.
-- A drug overdose was reported at 9:25 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of St. Clair Avenue. He responded to Narcan. Two hypodermic needles, a marijuana cigarette, a pipe and two pinch-off bags of white powder were recovered (one of which was open)
-- A male complainant reported that his ex-mother-in-law had shoved him at 5 pm. Friday in the Dairy Queen during a custody exchange.
-- Raymond Edwards was arrested at 6:04 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Wilbert Avenue, after allegedly interfering with a lawful arrest following a possible domestic. He also had an active warrant out of the sheriff's office.
-- A woman doing cleanup on State Street at 3:56 p.m. Sunday found a bone along with a plastic bag possibly containing drugs.
Liverpool Township
-- Another catalytic converter theft was reported March 16 in the 500 block of Westfield Road.
-- An officer was dispatched at 6:14 a.m. Saturday to the 500 block of Westfield Road, where a resident heard someone in his detached garage using a grinder. After a check of all vehicles in the area, no damage appeared to have been done.
-- A suicidal male was transported at 1:51 p.m. Saturday to a nearby hospital.
-- Two subjects were found shooting .22 rifles at paper targets at 2:44 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Boyd Street, after a woman called police. She was concerned due to her husband having PTSD from Vietnam.
-- Officers investigated a possible domestic disturbance at 10:52 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Martin Avenue and found everything was fine.
-- A Bluff Street woman reported at 6:24 p.m. Sunday that her rear license plate was missing, after she went through a car wash in Calcutta. She was unsure if the plate was stolen elsewhere or fell off.
St. Clair Township
-- An Echo Dell Road resident reported at 1:19 pm. March 11 that an identified subject stole jewelry, change, perfume and makeup from her residence.
-- An Artistic Drive resident reported at 3:03 p.m March 11 that he was the victim of identity theft.
-- Ricky Sheets was served at 11:41 a.m. Sunday near Taco Bell with an active warrant out of Jefferson County sheriff's office after a traffic stop.
-- Michael Board was arrested at 11:44 a.m. March 12 in the first block of Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road on charges of failure to control and open container, after losing control of his vehicle and going off the road.
-- A transportation supervisor reported at 2;30 p.m. March 17 that she had received complaints about the intersection of Coolidge at Lindy being blocked with cars and wreckers.
-- St. Clair Township police were involved at 5:06 a.m. March 17 in a pursuit on a vehicle on state Route 267 near the Route 11 exit for fictitious plats. The driver, who later was identified as Eric Jordan and suspended, had warrant out of Columbiana County. He then pushed his female passenger out of the vehicle before fleeing northbound on Route 11, where the officer lost the vehicle around the Lisbon exit. No other information is available at this time.
-- A male subject reported at 3:22 p.m. March 15 on station that he was assaulted by his cousin.
-- Heath Allen Wilkin was cited at 9:46 a.m. Saturday in the 15000 block of state Route 170 on charge of driving under OVI suspension and loud exhaust.
-- Christopher J. Pierce was arrested at 8:46 p.m March 13 in the 16000 block of Annesley Road on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
-- Three Brothers Auto Sales reported at 12:16 p.m. March 13 that someone with keys to his building stole some tools. The subject is going to review his video and fill out a statement.
-- Vito Colonna was arrested at 1:14 p.m. March 13 in the 16000 block of East Liverpool Road on a charge of drug paraphernalia, after a traffic stop for an equipment violation.
-- James Neville III was served at 5:35 p.m. March 12 with a felony warrant out of the sheriff's office at Walmart.
-- An Ivan Court man reported at 9:54 a.m. March 6 that his daughter stole several checks and forged his name.
-- The following were arrested on theft charges at Walmart: Shana Gilson at 3:31 p.m. March 15, $52.22; Aria N. Risbeck at 12:09 p.m. March 11, $537.03; Amanda Ogle at 11:03 a.m. March 19, $49.34; Tina Vaughn at 2:17 p.m. March 19, $111.87; Ashley Felger at 11:33 a.m. Saturday, $107.07; Meredith Adams at 1:21 p.m. Sunday, $107.84; and Sean McCarthy at 4:33 p.m. Monday, $250.21.
-- Officers were dispatched at 1:02 a.m. March 18 for a loitering problem at Sheetz.
-- Jolynn Varrati was cited at 3:48 p.m. March 18 on State Route 170 with failure to signal. A tie off bag with residue found behind her driver's seat will be sent to the crime lab with additional charges possibly pending.
-- Police responded at 10:19 p.m. March 19 to the 47000 block of Bell School Road for an altercation between a daughter and her mother.
-- Javen Call was cited at 6:02 p.m. Sunday for no driver's license, an illegal U-turn and served with a domestic violence warrant after a traffic stop near the BP gas station on state Route 170.
