-- No citations were noted on the incident report issued after a crash at 8:11 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Broadway Avenue. A vehicle driven by Karen Sidwell was backed into by George Hebert, who was traveling west in the 200 block of East Second Street. Due to a LEADS error, the officer noted that both officers had cleared the scene prior to finding out that Hebert apparently did not have a valid driver's license.
-- A man in the 200 block of East Fourth Street reported at 8:04 a.m. Friday that he is having issues with a neighboring property owner whom he believes spray painted their property near the property line. He wanted a report on file and is going to speak to zoning.
-- Theresa McGuire was driving her vehicle shortly after 11 a.m. Friday when she struck a residence in the 500 block of West Sixth Street. She was cited for failure to control. The residence sustained damage to its front wall as its interior walls.
-- A landlord was advised of options at 11:44 a.m. Friday regarding trespassers at his rental property in the 300 block of South Ellsworth.
-- An assault was reported at 3:20 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue.
-- Contact was made with a group of males with open containers at 3:56 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. After clearing the subjects of impairment, the officer made them pour out the alcoholic beverages and released them.
-- A crash involving a Vine Street woman striking her neighbor's fence while parking her car was reported at 4:13 p.m. Friday.
-- A loud music complaint was investigated at 11:29 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of East Sixth Street.
-- A couple involved in a verbal domestic was given a courtesy transport to their home at 3:49 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of North Ellsworth and given a warning for disorderly conduct.
-- A "hyper" child was to blame for a noise complaint shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of East Sixth Street.
-- An unwanted subject was reported at 11:06 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West 14th Street.
-- Cole A. Courtney, of Winona Road, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South Broadway Street on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated, after urinating in public while three marked cruisers were present.
-- Nicholas P. Kalan, of Girard, was cited at 4:41 p.m. Friday for failure to maintain an assured clear distance in the area of Lincoln and 14th, after rearending another vehicle and forcing them into a third one.
-- An officer stood by so a male could fetch his unopened can of alcoholic beverage outside a local establishment, where he had left shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday because he alleged he had been being harassed.
-- Police responded at 11:02 pm. Saturday to the Flying Pig for a fight over a girl.
-- A new vehicle had been reported at 10:22 p.m. Saturday in the Stadium Chevrolet parking lot, running despite being unoccupied. A key holder was notified.
-- An individual was using the fit park equipment within Waterworth Memorial Park at 10:19 p.m. Saturday, which is after park hours, and advised of such.
-- A homeless individual was discovered at 6:44 p.m. Saturday in the area of the 100 block of Sharp, where he had been sleeping under the West State Street overpass bridge. The individual was transported to the Stables Inn, where an officer and a female citizen split the cost.
-- A domestic in progress was reported at 5:25 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue. Upon contact, it was just verbal in nature.
-- Two abandoned bicycles were brought to the station Friday morning: one found in the 200 block of East Second Street and another which had been at Reilly School for the past several weeks.
-- Dog at large reports were issued Friday at 12:51 p.m. in the 500 block of East Fourth Street and at 2:59 p.m. in near Ellsworth and Second.
Sheriff's office
-- No one was located when deputies followed up on a call regarding someone dumping at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday along Wells Hollow Road.
-- A private sign was removed sometime between 6 and 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, a subject on Crestview Road reported Thursday morning. The sign was 3 feet by 3 feet and read Crestview Auction and Artisans Co-Op.
-- A male subject at the Frola Motel reported at 11:11 a.m. Thursday that he gave his live-in girlfriend $100 to pay her cell phone bill, and she refuses to pay him back. He was advised that this is a civil matter.
-- KLG ambulance's transported a subject to Salem Regional Medical center shortly after 4:20 a.m. Saturday from Salem Township who had overdosed.
Chester
-- Santee Baumgarner, of Chester, W.Va., was served with warrants for fleeing from an officer, driving too fast for roadway conditions, driving while license suspended, improper registration and no proof of insurance.
-- Christopher Tustin, of Chester, W.Va., was served with a contempt warrant out of Weirton Municipal Court.
-- Glenn Thomas Galloway, of Chester, W.Wa., was served with a failure to appear warrant out of Weirton Municipal Court and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
-- Austin Almo, of Chester, W. Va, was served with a warrant for felony unlawful assault out of Hancock County Magistrate Court.
-- Daniel Thompson, of Beaver Falls, Pa, – was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
