SALEM--A train struck a vehicle on the South Lincoln Avenue railroad tracks in the early morning hours Thursday, but little is known about incident at this time.
Police and fire personnel from Perry Township and Salem responded to the incident just after midnight. According to the Salem Fire Department report, the driver was uninjured and was not inside the vehicle when it was struck. The full report was unavailable and still under investigation Thursday night.
