Registration for East Liverpool library summer reading program begins today

EAST LIVERPOOL – Registration for the East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library’s Summer Reading Club begins today. The Summer Reading Club, which runs through July 31, is open to all people who use the library in East Liverpool, with most club members typically being early childhood and school aged children. The Summer Reading Program will feature family programs which will be hosted every Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army. Columbiana County elections board member resigns

LISBON — Columbiana County Board of Elections board member Greg Smith of Salem resigned Friday effective today, with the Columbiana County Republican Party Central Committee expected to name a replacement. Smith joined the board in March 2025 and said he was resigning for health reasons for his battle against cancer and to join the campaign of Robert Sprague, the current Ohio Treasurer who’s running for Ohio Secretary of State.
