Revamped county park board begins reorganization

LISBON — The new Columbiana County Park District Board set new meeting dates, hired a new maintenance worker, elected a new chairman and vice chairman, discussed finances and agreed to request a legal opinion related to a board member also serving on Friends of the Park. Friends of East Palestine library to hold silent auction, book sale

EAST PALESTINE — The Friends of the East Palestine Memorial Public Library are holding their annual silent auction and book sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The book sale will feature a $7 bag sale and will take place in the Library basement. The silent auction will take place in the Library community room.
