Griffin, 26, Cincinnati, was placed under community control for six months, non-reporting, after pleading guilty to a lesser-included offense of theft, a misdemeanor. Griffin was originally charged with grand theft, a fourth-degree felony, for stealing $11,697 over a period from April 29, 2024 to June 28, 2024 from TG Realty. Salem Parks Commission approves equipment repairs

SALEM — The parks commission approved equipment repairs in its May meeting. Parks Foreman Wes Bryan told the commissioners that he spoke with Unkefer Sales, a Kubota dealer based in Minerva, and the estimated cost of repairs necessary to return the parks department’s Kubota to working condition was $4,500. However, the cost to repair all its issues was estimated to be closer to $10,000.
