Starting Sept. 21, U.S. Route 30 will close at the state Route 11/U.S. Route 30 interchange in West Point for 45 days. The closure includes the section of U.S. Route 30 from state Route 45 to the state Route 11 northbound on- and off-ramps. Additionally, the ramp from state Route 11 to U.S. Route 30 and the eastbound U.S. Route 30 ramp will close as part of this phase of the project. BELOIT — An arrest has been made in the threat against Knox school last month. In a letter to parents Friday night, West Branch Schools Superintendent Matthew Manley said an arrest for terroristic threats, a third-degree felony, had been made that day by local law enforcement. COLUMBIANA — The city of Columbiana has decided that a consolidation of the fire and EMS departments will position the emergency services for long-term sustainability.
