Troopers arrest suspect after stolen vehicle chase

BEAVER TWP. (WKBN) – An East Liverpool man is facing felony charges after a reported police chase in a stolen vehicle. A woman called 911 just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday to report that she had been assaulted and her vehicle was stolen in Beaver Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers located the stolen vehicle shortly after that and attempted to pull it over, but reported that the driver refused to stop, leading them on a chase. BELOIT — The West Branch Local School District will ask voters to support a new property tax levy in the upcoming General Election in November. In its July 20 meeting, the board of education voted unanimously to approve a resolution to place a new five-year 1-mill permanent improvement levy on the ballot in November.
