Charges pending following drug raid in East Liverpool

EAST LIVERPOOL — Charges will be pending lab results after the recent execution of a search warrant at a Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool residence on Oct. 15 by the Columbiana County Drug Task Force. The county Sheriff’s Office announced the details on social media Monday, noted the search yielded 38 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 17 grams of suspected fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms and numerous different pills, some believed to be containing fentanyl and others believed to be illegal prescription medications. Beaver County Sheriff’s Office warns area residents about scam

BEAVER, Pa. — Area residents are being warned of a scam involving the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office. Over the past few days, the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office has been notified by numerous callers that an individual had called them and identified himself as Sergeant Howard of the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office. The caller then advised that the call was being recorded and that he was following up on a federal court subpoena in which the victim failed to show.
