East Palestine school board approves teacher union contract
EAST PALESTINE — East Palestine teachers will earn wage increases over the next two years now that the Board of Education has approved a new contract with the East Palestine Education Association (EPEA). The board approved the new two-year contract with the EPEA following negotiations. As a result certified staff, which are teachers, will earn a 2 percent increase in base wages the first year and 3 percent the second year.
