Rulli says bill will end predatory litigation by ‘radical groups’

Michael Rulli, R-Salem, introduced a bill he said will end predatory litigation by “radical special-interest groups” against the federal government filed under the Equal Access to Justice Act. No parking order to be in effect beginning July 6 Wellsville Mayor Bob Boley has issued a no parking order beginning July 6 on 10th Street from Commerce to Main on the northbound/right side of the road. This will remain in effect for approximately one week as all the telephone poles on that side of the street are replaced. Crews will need room to drill holes for the new poles. Commissioners approve property tax relief

LISBON — Columbiana County commissioners agreed Wednesday to give taxpayers who own and occupy their homes a break of 2.5 % on next year’s property tax bill. That’s on top of what state legislators recently approved to increase the owner occupancy credit. “It may not be a lot of relief, but it’s some relief,” Commissioner Tim Ginter said.
