EAST PALESTINE - East Palestine Schools welcomed more than 70 community members to its second annual Senior Citizen Breakfast on Oct. 22 for a morning dedicated to appreciation, connection and Bulldog pride.
Held in the East Palestine Elementary School gymnasium, the event brought together senior citizens, students, and district staff for breakfast and fellowship. The gathering provided an opportunity for the district to recognize and thank the senior citizens and to celebrate the connections that bring generations together.
One of the highlights of the morning was the involvement of East Palestine students, who shared their time and talents with guests. Their participation helped make the event special, demonstrating the thoughtfulness, respect, and community spirit that the district strives to instill in its students.
Superintendent Dr. James Rook and district staff were pleased to welcome guests and spend time with community members who have helped shape East Palestine over the years.
