Salem Preservation historic buildings presentation

Salem Preservation Society will present a new series on historic buildings from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St. Ginger Grilli will be discussing manufacturing homes in and around the Salem area. Examples will be from the late 1800s through mid-century modern. Manufacturers include Aladdin, Bennet, Montgomery Ward/Wardway, Gordon Van Tine, Lustron, Lincoln, Sears, and many more. Enjoy a brunch followed by the talk. Cost is $30 and includes lunch.
