Roxy Theatre Players to present Simon’s ‘Rumors’

Minerva's Roxy Theatre Players will present Neil Simon's "Rumors," on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-3, at 7 p.m.
"Rumors" is a fast-paced farce in which four couples are invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of New York Deputy Mayor Charlie Brock and his wife, Myra. Upon arrival, the guests discover Charlie has suffered a mysterious gunshot wound, Myra is nowhere to be found, and the household staff has disappeared. An attempted cover-up quickly spirals out of control, misunderstandings multiply, stories become increasingly outrageous, relationships are questioned, and accidental mishaps only add to the confusion.
Directed by Louie Pilati, "Rumors" is filled with rapid-fire dialogue, physical comedy, mistaken assumptions, and increasingly ridiculous lies.
The Roxy production stars Jolynn Gould, Malcolm D'Ostroph, Jessica Storad, Mike Brown, Rachel Galarneau, Xavier Mottice, Loni Porter, Dick Pilati, India Nign, Anthony Paulette, and Debi Siers.
Tickets are $12 presale and $15 at the door and can be purchased at the Minerva Chamber office or online at minervachamber.ticketspice.com/rumors.
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and all seating is general admission. For information, contact the Minerva Chamber, 330-868-7979 or nathan.meadows@minervachamber.org.
