LISBON -- The Counseling Center of Columbiana County's Employment Services Department will host its second annual opportunity expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds in Lisbon.
Made possible through funding from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, this free community event is designed to connect residents with the many opportunities available throughout Columbiana County. The opportunity expo will bring together employers, educators, workforce partners, apprenticeship programs, community organizations, and service providers in one location.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
Ø Meet with local employers currently hiring.
Ø Explore education, certification, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Ø Learn about workforce development and career advancement programs.
Ø Connect with community resources that support employment success.
Ø Discover services available through The Counseling Center's Employment Services Department and its community partners.
