Salem Preservation's Game Night at RetroWorks
Salem Preservation will host a game night from 6 to 9 p.m. at RetroWorks, 386 E. State St. In addition to unlimited play of 47 classic arcade, pinball and video games, the event will include a hot dog bar, pop and cookies. Cost is $30.
Dine-in Movie Night at Minerva Community Pool
The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Village of Minerva will host its second annual Dive-In Movie Night at the Minerva Community Pool on Saturday, Aug. 15, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. and the movie beginning around 8:30 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature a screening of Disney's live action "Lilo and Stitch."
Residents and visitors are invited to bring their friends and family for a relaxing and enjoyable evening under the stars. Children will be able to participate in games and activities before the film begins. Guests are welcome to bring their own floaties to enhance the movie-watching experience.
The Dive-In Movie Night is $10 per person or $35 for a family of four. Pool floaties are available for purchase for $7.50, if needed. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot in the pool or on the pool deck, as limited space is available.
