SALEM BOE MEETING SET
SALEM -- The Salem Board of Education will meet at 6:15 p.m. on Monday at the high school to review board goals and the regular agenda. A regular board meeting will follow at 7 p.m. in the Salem High School library.
LEPPER LIBRARY HOSTS GARDEN EXPERTS
LISBON -- The Ohio State University Extension will present “Ask a Master Gardener” sessions at the Lepper Library. SPRINGFIELD TO DISCUSS LEVY
NEW SPRINGFIELD -- The Springfield Township Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting to discuss a levy at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Springfield Township Administration Building.
BEAVER CLASS OF ’76 REUNION PLANNED
CALCUTTA -- The Beaver Local Class of 1976 50th class reunion will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the East Liverpool Elks. Cost is $35 per person. BINDER TO PERFORM
COLUMBIANA -- Leanne Binder and Friends will perform from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Firestone Park gazebo. The concert sponsored by East Fairfield Methodist Church was rescheduled from a June rain out.
VETERANS PICNIC PLANNED
CALCUTTA -- A veterans appreciation picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Calcutta Square. All veterans and active military are invited to bring along one guest. A free lunch, ice cream, live music and giveaways will be included. Opening ceremony will be at 9:45 a.m. on the sidewalk in front of the escape room.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST ON SUNDAY
CALCUTTA -- The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday at the barn in pioneer village. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children under 6.
