Leetonia Wrestling Boosters pig roast
Leetonia Wrestling Boosters will hold their inaugural pig roast to benefit the Leetonia Youth Wrestling Club from 4 to 10 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Leetonia Sportsmen's Club. The cost is $20 per ticket in advance or $30 at the gate, which includes food, pop and water. Children's tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. There will be music, a cash bar, a cornhole tournament, 50/50 raffle, basket raffle, and a gun raffle. There will also be a small demonstration by the wrestlers and youth sign ups for the upcoming season. Entry tickets and gun raffle tickets can be purchased at the Sports Connection in Salem and at Two Broke Girls restaurant in Leetonia. Mahoning County Model Aircraft Club meeting
Mahoning County Model Aircraft Club will meet at 6 p.m. July29 at Shaker Woods Field in Columbiana (enter field at 219 state Route 7). New members are welcome. Arrive at 4 p.m. if wishing to fly. In case of rain, meet at Bellaria Pizza on Market Street in Boardman. Meetings are held last Wednesday of each month. Save the date: Annual Fun Fly is Saturday, Sept. 19, public welcome.
