EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool City Schools is celebrating Mary English, who has been named the 2026 CEC Ohio Paraeducator of the Year by the Ohio Council for Exceptional Children.
This statewide honor recognizes paraeducators whose dedication, compassion, professionalism and commitment to student success make a lasting impact on children and school communities. English exemplifies these qualities every day through her unwavering support of students and her passion for helping every child reach their full potential.
“Mary exemplifies the very best of what it means to be a paraeducator,” said LaCroft Elementary Principal Stacy McNally. “Her kindness, patience, and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every day. She consistently goes above and beyond to support children, encourage their growth, and help them reach their full potential. We are incredibly proud to see her receive this well-deserved recognition.”
