The 2026 Salem Super Cruise officially kicked off Thursday with cruising throughout the day and the annual order to "Start Your Engines" given by Mayor Cyndi Baronzzi Dickey. In keeping with tradition, the order was preceded by a live performance of the Star Spangled Banner, with this year's rendition provided by Cathy Plegge. (Photos by Morgan Ahart)
