SALEM — Kast Iron Soda Works, a modern-day soda fountain and craft soda maker based in Salem, has been named an official beverage partner of America 250-Ohio, the statewide initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026.
As part of this partnership, Kast Iron Soda Works is producing commemorative Root Beer and Vanilla Cola – their own signature flavors – designed for community events, July 4 celebrations, and retail locations across Ohio throughout the anniversary year.
The glass bottled sodas are crafted in small batches and are intended to complement the spirit of the celebration–bringing people together in shared experiences across communities statewide.
“Being part of America’s 250th celebration in Ohio is an exciting and meaningful opportunity for us,” said Lesley Kline, owner of Kast Iron Soda Works. “Our goal has always been to create something that brings people together. To see our sodas become part of gatherings and celebrations across the state is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Kast Iron Soda Works is working to connect with communities, event organizers and businesses across Ohio to supply commemorative beverages for public events, local celebrations and retail locations. The program also includes Columbus Brewing Company as an official beer partner, highlighting a range of Ohio-based contributions to the statewide celebration.
The commemorative sodas are available for event planning, retail distribution and community use, with more information available at kastironsoda.com.
