ALLIANCE – The Department of Performing Arts at the University of Mount Union will host a Spring Vocal Showcase Recital on Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m. The event will take place in Presser Recital Hall, located in Cope Music Hall on the university’s campus.

The following local students will perform at the showcase: Andrea Dager of Alliance, Anna Eversdyke of Alliance, Hannah McConnell of Alliance and Ella Scofinsky of Beloit.

The program will consist of art songs, operatic arias and musical theatre selections by composers such as Noel Gay, Jerome Kern, Thomas Dunhill, George Frideric Handel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Giacomo Carissimi, Gian Carlo Menotti, Jeanine Tesori, Frederick Loewe, Ben Pasek and Justin Paul, Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow, Alessandro Parisotti, John Jacob Niles and Jason Howland.
