EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool First Church of the Nazarene will host guest speakers Ivan and Violetta Petrosyan Sunday.

The movie “Between Borders” tells their true story of an Armenian family living in Azerbaijan forced to flee their home during the collapse of the Soviet Union and embark on a journey to find a community.

Arriving in Russia, ardent atheists and exhausted parents trying to build a life for their family in yet another country, they stumbled upon a church planted by Lonnie and Connie Norris, volunteer Nazarene missionaries, and were converted.

The Petrosyans will be speaking to the combined teen and adult Sunday school classes at 9:30 a.m. They will also speak during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Following the service there will be a covered-dish dinner, after which they will speak and host a Q & A session.

All are invited and welcome to attend what promises to be an exciting service.
