EL American Legion officer nominations

First nominations for regular member officers of Alfred H. Wedgewood American Legion Post 374 will be conducted at 7 p.m. April 6. The second nomination will be held at 7 p.m. April 13. All regular members are encouraged to attend. All nominations will be held upstairs in the meeting hall of post 374, 1824 Parkway Ave., East Liverpool. Voting will commence from noon to 8 p.m. April 27 in the gaming room. All members must present their 2026 membership card or receipt in order to vote.

Second Baptist Church book signing

Author Shannon Peachey will host a book signing on April 3 at Second Baptist Church, 1091 Pennsylvania Ave., East Liverpool, held in conjunction with the church’s “7 Last Words” service. The signing will take place from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and immediately following the service. Peachey will sign Amazing Grace & Abundant Mercy and its companion devotional, which focus on living daily in God’s grace and mercy. Books will be available for purchase. All are welcome.

Columbiana County Port Authority meeting

The Columbiana County Port Authority will hold a special board meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday for the acceptance of a grant award. No other action will be taken. Anyone wishing to attend the public meeting must call the port office at 330-424-1800 x2 by 3 p.m. Monday to request instructions.

Beaver Local School District kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open. Visit https://www.beaver.k12.oh.us to begin registration.
