MCCTC open house
MCCTC Adult Career Center located on Palmyra Road in Canfield will host an enrollment open house from 5 to 7:30 p.m. March 26. Campus tours will take place anytime throughout the event. Prospective students can meet with student services and find out more about potential funding sources to help pay for education.
Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 16, with Dorothy Garn presiding. Cindy Hays was best loser and Dena white was runner up. They chose potato chips and cookies as the junk foods.
The drawing winners were: 50/50, Hays; food chart, Darlene Naukem; weight loss and jackpot, Darla Varney; junk food, Garn.
Losing three weeks in a row was Hays, three times in the best losers book, Hays and White. Cathy Wollam now holds the travel box.
Cheryl Myers presented the program, and participants won vegetables or fruits. Next week Naukem will present the program.
The meeting opened with pledges and closed with concerns and the Lord’s Prayer.

Choose to Lose
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on March 10 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer report. Both were approved as read.
Perorazio was the CTLG biggest loser.
The no no is candy.
Tassy Everett won the food journals, JoAnn Beresford won the dimes that were held over, and Wanda Prices won the Share The Blessing.
Winners of the Pigs In The Pen last week were Stephens, Jean Ferrebee and Fouse. This week’s winners were Wanda Price, Perorazio, Beresford and Fouse.
Perorazio was the winner of the No Fibbing Contest.
Perorazio read an article on Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff.
