United kindergarteners must be 5 years old by start of school year
Due to a change in legislation, to be eligible for kindergarten children must be 5 years old prior to the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year, which will be Sept. 8 for United Local. State law requires kindergarten experience prior to attending first grade. For information call 330-233-1521. Kindergarten registration will be available beginning on March 1.
