Columbiana Planning Commission considers replat and site plan reviews

COLUMBIANA — The city’s planning commission met Tuesday night to consider one replat and four site plan reviews.

Member Dylan Fletcher was absent as he had a meeting conflict. Fletcher was elected as a Columbiana school board member in November, taking his seat in January.

Columbiana mayor Rick Noel had appointed him to the planning commission earlier in 2025, and both meeting times overlap.

Noel announced Tuesday that Fletcher plans to attend the March 10 and make some remarks regarding the issue.

Planning commission members concluded Tuesday’s meeting by electing to hold the March meeting an hour earlier at 6 p.m., which requires it to be treated as a special meeting due to the time change.

In other action, members approved site plans for the Center For Integrated Health, 319 N. Main St.; Handmade Happiness, 11 E. Salem St.; a new yoga and wellness studio at 139 Town Center Ave.; Black Sheep Renovations, who will occupy unit 3 of 11 E. Salem St.; and a replat for two lots at 330 Terra Verde Ave. so the occupants can add an addition on their home.

Starting at $2.99/week.
