CALCUTTA — St. Clair Township met Monday afternoon in the final days of 2025 to reorganize for the upcoming year.

Bob Swickard will be board president and Jim Sabatini vice president going into 2026. 

Trustees and department heads continue to hold their regular meetings every other Monday starting Jan. 12 at the administration building. If the scheduled meeting date falls on an observed holiday, the meeting will be held at 8 a.m. on the Saturday preceding. 

Trustees also designed Swickard and fiscal officer Deborah Dawson to serve on their records retention’ committee. 

Glenmoor fire chief Matthew Smith serves as the township fire prevention’s officer for 2026. 

Sabatini will be the trustee in charge of the township road department. 

There was no action items noted on the agenda for their regular meeting later Monday.
