Ohio Upper Valley Museum to host Best Bite in Town fundraising event
EAST LIVERPOOL – The Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame is inviting food lovers to help determine who has the best bite in town, while enjoying an evening of fun, flavor and friendly competition.
The Upper Ohio Valley Museum will bring local flavors together for a friendly food competition to celebrate local businesses at the museum on Jan 24 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Each participant will showcase their best bites for attendees to sample. Guests will use tokens to cast their vote for the participant/vendor they believe deserves the title of Best Bite in Town.
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the museum, which is a non-profit organization that runs solely on donations and fundraisers.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at $15 at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame and $20 at the door during the event.
All proceeds from the event will directly support the operations of the Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center.
“This event is about more than great food,” said Michelle Roberts, director of operations at the hall of fame. “It is a celebration of our local businesses, our community, and the shared experiences that bring people together – all while supporting a great cause.”
Roberts said the event will be an unforgettable evening for food enthusiasts and community support with mouthwatering bites, local pride and a lively atmosphere.
