The CAT to host Frozen
The Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT) will host Frozen: The Broadway Musical, presented by the Squeaky Wheel Theater Company, Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 and Feb. 6 through 8. This beloved, family-friendly musical brings the magic, music, and heart of the hit Disney story to life on The CAT stage for audiences of all ages. Tickets are on sale now at atthecat.com.
Free programs at Rodman
Rodman Public Library is offering free programs in February to help patrons learn how to use equipment and materials in the Makerspace. On Monday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m., participants will Celebrate National Pizza Day by creating funny Valentine’s Day cards. Patrons who register can make up to two cards to take home. On Thursday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m., participants will celebrate National Love Your Pet Day and make a picture frame perfect for a photo of your pet DIY Pet Picture Frames. Patrons who register can create one frame each to take home. On Friday, Feb. 27 a 4 p.m., participants will create a free button or magnet and celebrate National Pokemon Day using tools and materials from the Makerspace. Registration is required for each program, which are supported by Friends of Rodman Library, at rodmanlibrary.com. Those registering are requested to visit the library’s Makerspace webpage (www.rodmanlibrary.com/content/library-makerspace) to learn more about the Makerspace before arriving for any programs. All patrons must have user and hold harmless agreements on file or sign those forms in order to use machines, and patrons under 18 must have a user agreement signed by a parent or guardian. Maker Monday at Rodman
Maker Monday, an in-person craft program for adults, resumes in February at Rodman Public Library. On Monday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m., crafters will gather in the Rodman Auditorium to create a shamrock button mosaic. The popular program is held on a select Monday each month. All materials and supplies are provided free of charge, thanks to Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required for each session.
