Columbiana parking ban

The City of Columbiana has declared a weather emergency-no parking on all city streets from 5:30 a.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday. Daily parking ban between 2 and 5:30 a.m. remains in effect.

East Palestine parking ban

The Village of East Palestine is declaring a snow emergency Saturday through Monday. Parking is prohibited from 8 a.m. Saturday through 8 a.m. Monday on all streets other than Market, Taggart and Main streets. The parking will be enforced on Market, Taggart and Main streets beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday through 8 a.m. Monday, all subject to extension. Ensure that vehicles are moved off the road during this time.

Leetonia warming shelter

If there is a power outage in the Village of Leetonia Sunday and Monday during the snow storm, residents are asked to contact the Leetonia Police Department at 330-427-6731 and Chief Allen Haueter will make sure you get to a warming shelter that he has arranged for the village residents to use during the storm.

Sebring school board canceled

The Sebring school board has canceled its special meeting scheduled for Monday.

Shared Blessing Luncheon canceled

The Shared Blessings Luncheon at St. John Lutheran Church at 400 Hill Blvd., East Liverpool, scheduled for Monday has been canceled due to the bad weather predicted for the area. The next luncheon will be held Monday, Feb. 23, weather permitting.

CC Port Authority meeting delayed

The Columbiana County Port Authority Board meeting scheduled on Monday has been re-scheduled to Monday, Feb. 2, at 5 p.m. at the port office in Lisbon.
