Banquet in Salem Monday

The Dine in or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building will be sponsored by Moore M-R Specialty’s. The menu will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, applesauce, fresh fruit and vegetables, and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind the building and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. Kids programs at Rodman

Programs for Rodman Public Library’s littlest patrons are making a return in January. Between Jan. 19 and April 1, Wee Read sessions will be held every Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. and every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Children, ages birth through 2 years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend. Wee Read includes stories, fingerplays, music and movement. No registration is required. Children, ages 3 to 5, and their caregivers are invited to attend Storytime between Jan. 21 and April 2 at Rodman Public Library. Morning sessions will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Evening sessions are held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Storytime sessions are intended to encourage lifelong readers through stories, music, movement and activities.
