Merry and Bright
The Saline Township Revitalization Group hosted its first-annual Light Up Night and Christmas Market on Friday 5-10 p.m. at the Saline Township Complex. The outdoor celebration featured the lighting of the community Christmas tree, food trucks, craft vendors, music and a Chinese auction. Santa Claus also made an appearance, and free hot chocolate was offered throughout the evening. In the weeks leading up to the event, the group held a gingerbread house decorating activity on Nov. 23, at the complex. Completed houses were later displayed during Light Up Night, where attendees voted on their favorites and prizes were awarded. The event was free and open to the public.
