EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio — East Liverpool City Schools partnered with Toys for Tots Ohio during this week’s holiday toy distribution, an effort that brought joy and support to 558 local children and their families throughout the community.
The distribution was made possible through the collective efforts of volunteers, community partners, and Toys for Tots leadership, all working together to ensure children experienced the joy of the holiday season. The initiative served as a powerful reminder of the impact of community collaboration and service.
Toys for Tots Ohio Youth Ambassador and ELHS Freshmen Aiden Durst played a key role in the distribution, assisting with toy organization and helping families during the event. His leadership and dedication to service reflect the spirit of giving that defines the Toys for Tots mission.
“When communities come together with a shared purpose, incredible things happen,” said Megan Hernandez, Director of Communications for East Liverpool City Schools. “We are grateful to be part of an initiative that brings hope and joy to so many of our families during the holidays.”
East Liverpool City Schools extends its sincere appreciation to Toys for Tots Director Deborah Oberlin, the dedicated volunteers, and all partners who made this distribution possible. Together, their efforts helped make the holiday season brighter for hundreds of children across the region.
