COLUMBIANA — Columbiana Project Playground supporters are invited to celebrate the arrival of brand new, inclusive playground equipment to the city at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 for a festive winter parade.

Michaela Good, CPP president, said that families, residents, and supporters are encouraged to line the parade route or join the community watch party hosted at Birdfish Brewing Company.

“We’re beyond excited to welcome this equipment to Columbiana,” she said. “This celebration is for every family who has supported this project, every child who will enjoy this playground, and everyone who believes in making our community more accessible and inclusive.”

The parade will feature the delivery of the new playground equipment, escorted through town with the help of the Columbiana Police Department. enthusiastic community members and volunteers.

Old Dominion Trucking is providing transportation for the equipment, ensuring it arrives safely and in true celebration style.

Residents are encouraged to dress warm, bring signs, and cheer along the route. The Birdfish watch party will include community fellowship, warm beverages, and family-friendly fun.
