Andover man files appeal over speeding conviction

LISBON — An Andover man convicted of speeding filed an appeal recently with the Seventh District of Appeals to challenge the guilty finding.

Jacob Isaac Davis, 31, was found guilty during a trial to the court Nov. 18 before Judge Tim McNicol and fined $75 plus costs for speeding. According to the ticket, he was accused of going 86 mph in a 70-mph zone on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township on May 26.

Davis filed the documents himself to challenge the conviction.
