LISBON — A Hanoverton man who failed to return home Nov. 5 remained listed as an endangered missing adult Monday afternoon, but Capt. Ryan Pike of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office said his phone was found in an area near Highlandtown Lake.

The Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department searched the area with a drone.

“So far they haven’t found anything,” Pike said.

Michael F. Arnoto, 47, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, was reported missing by a relative at 8:36 p.m. Friday and was entered into the law enforcement statewide data base and also as a missing endangered due to health issues.

According to Pike, all access points to Highlandtown Lake were checked along with the area where the phone was located, but Arnoto was not found as of Monday after 5 p.m.
