ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — Of the 4,076 registered voters in St. Clair Township, 3,218 voted to determine the two of the three candidates in the race for two St. Clair Township Board of Trustees seats.

Candidates included challenger David J McCoy and incumbents James Sabatini II and Robert M. Swickard.

The incumbents, Sabatini and Swickard, were reelected.

The three candidates received a total of 2,766 votes between them with 452 undervotes, which means that some voters only voted for one candidate instead of two.

Sabatini led the race with 1,134 or 41% of the votes while Swickard with 841 or 30.40% of the votes inched out McCoy who had 791 or 28.60% of the votes.
