Dino Mania Saturday

Lepper Library in Lisbon will host DINO MANIA from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Drop in for a morning of Diggin’ for Dinos in the sand, putting together a dino floor puzzle and dinosaur crafts.

November Craft Class

Lepper Library in Lisbon will host its November Craft Class with guest instructor Justin Hickman Nov. 13. Choose between a class time of 5 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 7 p.m. Assemble and decorate a small wood riser, a versatile piece that can serve as a holder for candles, soap, or plants.

Mile Branch soup sale

ALLIANCE –Mile Branch Grange will hold its monthly drive-thru soup sale on Nov. 13.

Cost is $9 per quart. This month’s soups will be broccoli cheese and vegetable beef. Soup must be preordered by noon this Wednesday. Soup will be available from 4-6 p.m. It will be packaged and delivered directly to your car ready to heat when you get home.

Mile Branch Grange is located at 495 Knox School Road, Alliance. Call 330-821-8023 to reserve soup. Leave your name, phone number, type of soup and number of quarts desired.

‘As Gold’ conference

NEW WATERFORD – “As Gold” is the theme for a two-day conference for women and teenage girls this weekend (Nov. 7-8) at Abundant Life Fellowship, 46469 state Route 46.

Sponsored by The Belonging women’s ministry, the free conference starts with registration at 6 p.m. Friday followed by a do-it-yourself activity and then worship led by Heart of David, a multi-church worship team from the area, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The event resumes Saturday at 9 a.m. with registration and a coffee and tea bar followed by worship with Heart of David and keynote speaker Deidre Rivera, from Victory Christian Fellowship from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lunch and dinner will be provided. A variety of breakout sessions from 2 to 4:30 will feature the following topics and speakers:
